My favorite river on the planet! I feel so fortunate to live super close to the Chattooga. Section 4 is amazing and beautiful and definitely worth that long lake paddle at the end, lol.
Dude, you gotta never stop putting those "river queen" jabs in your videos, I swear my sides are in stitches from the laughter, catchin me off guard hard-core. Never quit, I know and we all know you and and Pete are close and you're definitely thankful to his help as well as the many others, so friendly jabs are safe in my book, and a great way to show we care, but that jab sir was a dead to rights left hook from the blindside that hurts still from the laughter. Great video. Keep up good work and follow rule #1 Just don't die lol
I have some stories from this lake: This one time I was fly fishing near the L’Eau falls before it got dammed and I saw these four guys paddling down the river at a wicked fast rate; I tried to warn them of the falls but they were too busy trying to get this guy to put his life jacket on; never heard of them since!
Boof strokes man, both attempts at sockem dog there was no boof stroke. The first landing you almost had to surf but lucked out. That’s not a pleasant pourover to get window-shaded in.
I love my strike! It’s so much more power than my old desperado haha! I have not tried the surge, but I tend to prefer smaller blades anyways! I’ve heard the surge is amazing tho! Anyways, thanks for watching!
@@JerKayaks awesome thanks. I'm looking for my PFD there at some point too and have hear that 1.4-1.6 range is a good first-timer range. Just wondered where this was in that range, thanks!
Side note, I was watching Pete’s vids when you were just starting out…dang! You’ve really come a long way!!!
Wow thanks! I appreciate it :) Thanks for watching haha!

Awesome video! It’s so refreshing to know I’m not the only one experiencing those emotions when kayaking. So cool to see my face on RUclips lmao

Thanks for going for me so I don't have to. It looks so much fun maybe I'll be better one day with a group of people.
It is a lot of fun, it’s a lot more fun when it’s with a super solid safety crew-Tony

Haha totally understandable! Thanks for watching :)
Good video as usual! How do you like the Strike paddle, and have you tried the Surge?
