- After more than 30-years of bowhunting black bear, it was just recently that I heard the term, “Bush Dragon”, to describe a big, dominate, male bear. This is a reference made by a northern Alberta local and it instantly made sense to me. This film will take us back to the beginning and you see that Roy Roth and I begin our pursuit of a Bush Dragon way back in 1989. While the hunt never truly ends, join me on this latest instalment as I head to wild Alberta in search of a monster.

I think the thing I admire the most about Cam is the reverence and respect he has for the animal. The absolute goat.
As a Dutchman, I understand why settelers once sought after the freedom they dreamed of. I see that Cam and his fellow hunters live that freedom to its fullest. Unfortunately, we do not have this kind of freedom in my country but I wish to some day also find it in your country. This truly is living LIFE. Godspeed, brother.

bow hunters can get started in September in GA throughout most of the state. Check online for when archery deer season begins in your county
My daughter's basketball coach got me to watching Cam... I've watched all his videos & bought my first bow 2 weeks ago. He's such an inspiration & the passion he has got me hooked. Bought all my kids bows also, every evening we are out shooting.

I love how cam and joe went hunting years and years ago,and when joe first said “keep hammering” cam was a little thrown off.And within 1 minute of convo they both agreed that they needed to keep it going and make it a t-shirt or brand. And here we are 2023 and keep hammering is apart of cams day to day. Great documentary’s keep them coming!

The respect, the honour of the hunt and how Cam speaks of Roy. Unbelievable. I've watched his tribute to Roy in Alsaka so many times and still can't get over how close Cam was to his destiny. Thank you Cam for opening my eyes to the hunt and to bow hunting

One thing that stuck out to me was when Cam said “the greatest thing for me is the stories you have to tell” referring to hunting. That’s is so true coming from another hunter

That's the part I don't think people get about hunting. They just don't get how heavy, how serious, how -- as Cam said -- powerful -- it is to take something else's life. To know that we were the one DIRECTLY responsible for it.

Cam I have about the utmost respect for you as a hunter and human being as anyone I have known..or known of in your case. Your truly a special human being and one in a few hundred million for sure. Your reverance and the spiritual connection you hold with the animals you hunt is undeniable and I wish more people could understand theres a lot of hunters that have a similar outlook on how we experience hunting. The go to "Fudd" stereotype is more rare then people think and like a lot of things, the few bad apples make the rest look bad. Just happens that one has tainted generations of peoples view in this country and around the world. I honestly believe you and a handful of other extremely ethical hunters in the spotlight today are doing a lot to change that. Speaking for myself and I hooe many other hunters out there, that hasn't gone unnoticed, we appreciate it and thank you very much. America is THE model for conservation worldwide and thats proven time and time again. That coupled with folks like you keeps this resource alive and me proud to live in America. That was a great film as they always are. I noticed Rogan/ Hanes '24...are we gonna see the next video with Joe? Maybe Kip and your boys oe something too. That'd be awesome. Joe's huge audience and his view on hunting is doing a lot for all of us as well. I'd love to see a collab there to!!

Anyone who doesn't take that meat is nuts. I've been blessed to harvest a few over the years. That meat is delicious. Some of the best ribs we've smoked were bear ribs.

I can't get over those old homemade tree stands. Wood, string, no harnesses, no ratchet straps. And Roy was a big dude! I don't know how you guys secured those things to the tree. I also don't know how they had the structural integrity to hold up your massive balls lol
Your videos with Roy in them definitely remind me of hunting with my dad. Those are the best memories with him is hunting together.
This world can take someone from us but we still have those memories and we get to replay or relive them anytime.
