Great on stage! Saw him in an Oklahoma casino years ago and he brought the house down. What's really impressive about this is he was a teenager when he cut this album. Great reaction!
So wonder what makes you wonder what happened? What happened to him. I was a young boy when dead dance right here. Still young right now and you aint heard from him in years. Did he quiet question mark
Somebody should do baby king. I'm doing that. Thrill was gone with all those guitar/dirt trucks, wonderful wife, and simply riot was out there. On long one's thriller's gown with baby king slash dirt trucks incredible at the crossroads
I thought I was the only one that loved “Irish Angel”. 😉 It’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written and Jonny’s performance is dripping with emotion. Jonny’s pianist/keyboardist Bruce McCabe wrote it which I’m sure you already knew.
He used to be Kid Johnny Lang. He used to play in Bunkers bar in Minneapolis when he was 15. I’d shoot pool with his dad during sound checks. A friend of mine who used to work at the Joint bar in Minneapolis was his head roadie until he unfortunately died way too young.
Great song ,,, great singer and guitarrist and yes the backround vocals fabulous... and love your voice also Angela ,, been wanting to tell you that for a long time... you should sing a song just for all of us.... dig your voice and reactions..... thanks Angela......
The backup singer is Bekka Bramlett. Love her voice. She's the daughter of the singing couple Delaney & Bonnie. You should hear Bonnie's cover of Janis Joplin's Take A Piece Of My Heart. It's awesome.
YES! YES! Was waiting for this one to come around. Killer song. The CD I have sounds really good too. Well recorded. The kick drum kicks! Yes, this should be on your phone!
What did he do go hide under a rock question mark I mean, where's your band brother? I was young when he did this , but many years ago still young ain't done that question
Oh wow! It isn’t often that you run into a fellow MSB fan. I love the sax on that song. It seems like whenever there is a sax played in a song, everyone remembers it and comments on it yet so few songs have them. 🤔
Who is her sound engineer? Where is the bass? I didn’t know I was expert until I hear her voice searching for a Johnny slang reaction…. Johnny is on point tho. Breaking me 🎶 is 🔥
Jonny Lang released the song “Irish Angel” on his 2004 album Touch…..The Best of Jonny Lang. The song was written by Jonny’s pianist/keyboardist Bruce McCabe. I listen to a lot of different genres of music but this beautiful Irish ballad is right at the top of my list with “I Don’t Want To Talk About It” written by Danny Whitten and performed by Rod Stewart and Amy Belle in 2004 at Royal Albert Hall. The song “Irish Angel” just pulls at your heart strings and Jonny’s performance is dripping with emotion. I’ll post the link for you. If you don’t care to do a reaction please just listen and enjoy it. You may want tissues handy. 😢 ruclips.net/video/iC2vgIvP0lY/видео.htmlsi=6KEBFbgl6OOAQ2R3
Too bad they blocked the video... it's pretty misleading and awesome. JL is the young blonde kid with the old soulful voice; always stuns the audience. His guitar chops are incredible. BTW that whole album is a great combination of original and classic blues.
The recording doesn't really do justice to how phenomenal a guitarist Johnny Lang is. Much more impressive live, especially if you can see his acoustic or "unplugged" stuff.
amazing talent yet? a one hit wonder, how do these things happen? always puzzling how great songs, writing, playing,. etc etc just dont go forward ? Guitar was exceptional.
Saw him in concert a while ago. This no doubt his best song. His other songs not that good. He would have been better off being a lead guitarist for a band rathervthan a lead act.

Ain't that a groove? !5 years old (at the time) and loaded with talent. Great song.
16 years old with a serious bluesman 's growl.
Check out Irish Angel(live) from him.
Phenomenal...

@@stevenewcomer8837 Indeed! It's a beautiful song.
Irish Angel is my favorite as well!!

One heck of a musician right here....great reaction!
My first play on the jukebox every night before I started work ❤❤❤❤

Quite accomplished for one so young, good bluesy voice, although I have heard quite a few similar songs-Colin Ward
Great song!!!

Wow, this was great. I've never heard him before.
This and great hard Blues is my kind of music
dude can play some wicked Guitar!!!!
according to a google search he was 15 when he released this. He was heavily influenced by SRV
What did he do go hide under a rock question mark I mean, where's your band brother? I was young when he did this , but many years ago still young ain't done that question
Definitely a great song and this man is the real deal, TALENT; I think I read somewhere that he’s not able to sing anymore due to a health condition?
Jonny's voice is on par with Joe Cocker's...just in a slightly higher register. Definitely has some serious blues chops.
Angela, try to check out the Michael Stanley Band "All I Ever Wanted." Good ol' blue collar rock and roll !!!

Hi Ms. D., I like this song; nice guitar.. Mr. Brook Benton did a "Lie To Me" but it is a different song; I love Mr. Brooks voice.. ♠Mr,.G..
Who is her sound engineer?

Not bad!
❤
If you're going to do Blues you have to do Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Cray, Jeff Healy, Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepard
The recording doesn't really do justice to how phenomenal a guitarist Johnny Lang is. Much more impressive live, especially if you can see his acoustic or "unplugged" stuff.
Still trying to figure out how a 16 year old boy has a voice like that. Sounds like he’s been around life a few miles but nope
Please check out Joe Nichols I’ll Wait for You. This one will tug at your heart
amazing talent yet? a one hit wonder, how do these things happen? always puzzling how great songs, writing, playing,. etc etc just dont go forward ? Guitar was exceptional.
Starts out sounding like Talking Heads Life During Wartime (Stop Making Sense)
Stevie Ray Vaughan has always been my favorite blues guitarist, I think Johnny Lang and Kenny Wayne Sheppard are worthy SRV disciples.
Success ate him up.
I see some serious thinking close to the tune.bust loose girl
