Such an atmospheric song that really encapsulates a time and a place. As an Australian who always dreamt of traveling to London, but didn't manage to travel until their early 50's a few years back... I knew I was in London when I stood at Waterloo Bridge at sunset humming this song to myself with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. I saw the kinks in around 1972 to 1974 back when 3 bands were on show for maybe 10 to 12.00 dollars or less .
I've never seen this clip . What an epic for Brittain, an ironic sub-plot of a 70s couple and sheer brilliance.
