I put my bucks on Bel but I knew watching the speed of the scoring of the second set draw that something was up...and sure enough the third set did what it did and Kenin so rightly won giving an ultra fantastic performance and she is definitely making a name for herself! Sofia knocked Elise off the other day too I think, hell! Next thing she'll be beating Barty!

In the Game of SFM (7-6 5-4) Bencic double faulted at 0-15. It became the costly one. Had Bencic made it to 15-15 at that point, she should have won the match.

I would say the opposite. So many overheads and swing volleys Bencic flubbed horribly. You want to take those out of the air so that you take time from your opponent. The problem was that Bencic didn't seem to know how to hit that particular shot. Heck, I tend to slice them with short angles or drop shot them. Alas, my swing volley ain't what it should be. But, her weak, short and floating return was sad to see. And, if I were another player I would definitely be working on my lobs as Bencic doesn't seem to have an answer for them. I have not seen much of her full matches. How is her short game? Some players with massive groundstrokes have no touch for that very important short game.
Ridiculously disappointing from bencic...she literally broke down! She became nervous, petulant and childlike...things that one would think kenin would go through. Kerber might have lost to kenin but she would have fell apart in such a manner.
Bencic the older so seeing the breakdown one would expect that behavior from the younger player, but kenin show better tenacity...my opinion. You don’t like it...go kick rocks.
