Nicely done Daniel, thanks for sharing...not likely that I'll be shooting wine anytime soon but the setup and thought process was so interesting, thank you :)
Thank you 🙏🏻 for yet another easy to follow video. I've got 2 makeup mirrors now just because I follow this channel 🤣 but they are indeed very useful 🤗
Thanks for making this video Daniel Norton, Product Photography is a very interesting category! Like I may have mentioned before it took me a while to understand that in Product Photography is more about the way light reflects or bounce off the product surface. The mirror is a great way to get the same intensity and source like effect. Thanks for all the great content you make and share with us all Sir!
Regardless of having seen the technique, know or use the technique; a few minutes of Daniel is always enjoyable. btw.. the "steam your diffuser" is a great bit of advice. I shot the same item four times until I figured out what was going on...
If you wanted more of a gradient of light that got brighter as you went from the top to the bottom of the bottle, would you just tilt the top of the key light away from the bottle? ...guess I could just try that for myself, but maybe you have a better suggestion? Thanks for the product photography tips Daniel!
You could try that, but it will change the shape of the highlight. More likely using a “net” would be the answer - its like a flag but reduces vs blocks light
Could a gentle, snooted third light hitting the label tangentially from near-side right do the mirror's job without the need to retouch? My inexperience on such things makes me wonder if that would work. Also, many thanks for another insightful lesson!
Steam the silk of the soft box… it’s phrases like this that make this channel a goldmine!
Super cool, now I want to practice on everything and anything in my kitchen
I can watch all the videos on RUclips, but whenever Daniel uploads one, it becomes my go-to. Thank you again Daniel!
Honestly Daniel, yours are some of the best and most enjoyable tutorials on RUclips. Thanks for the consistently awesome content! ☺️🙏🏼
Your method is very clean and simple, just the way I like. Thanks for showing this easy approach.
Interesting comment regarding steaming out the creases! I would never have thought of that. Thanks.
Short, sweet, and to the point.
Great vid. Thanks
That looked fantastic. Great video (as always) 👍

Finely illustrated demo. Confirmed my suspicion about invoking Caravaggio lighting in product shoot.

💪🏼💪🏼 👍🏼 🙏🏼TY Daniel!!
Thank you for another great lesson
I use bare beads through white translucent acrylic. That way you can create a gradation in your reflections by feathering the light on the acrylic
Great video Daniel, as always.
Thanks. I have never seen that technique before.
Daniel, thanks for the cool instructive video 😃
(no questions)
Thanks! I wanted to confirm some of my theories about exactly this recently :D
Nice and simple. Great content as usual!
First time here and I love it already. You make this very simple
Another great video! Thank you! Would love to see a video shooting highly reflected skin care cream jars.

Well presented, I enjoyed this video.
Great tips! Thanks
Nice and easy thanks Dan
Excellent jod `Daniel...
👍👍
Great tip about the softbox thanks, another tip would be to remove the back label of the bottle to get more light through the bottle
So fun thx for sharing
This was a great video. Simple and direct. Can you give us more product photography lessons? it would be wonderful.
Thanks a lot.
hey! thanks for the useful video! kind of new at studio work. What is the flash setting? (is the background light in lower output?)
Nice. Does that method also work for food?
you should do a tutorial on gradient light

So, aiming the b flash at the background is enough to illuminate the bottle?

Daniel, what is the table you are using? Thanks 🙏
It’s a saw horse
Can you do fine art portrait
Seems like it would have been slightly easier to turn the bottle 1/2" and add a white reflector. 1 shot = 1 kill . 🙃
