Do you have a more detailed writeup anywhere as to what your setup is? I'm still pretty new to the artnet/pixelmapping and I currently have a teensy running my strips. I like the idea of a wifi controlled matrix. Thanks!
hi, im following your tutorial but i can only get 1 universe (170 pixel), its works like a charm with 170 pixels, if i change the pixel count on the code above 170, my ws2812 doesn't light up..
I did it, but my Nodemcu esp8266 crashs after 15 or 10 minutes when I use 2 universes or more, when I use only 1 artnet universe it works very good , do you know what is the problem ?
@@wayna2 there's another very in depth tutorial (you've probably seen it) where the creator stated a max of ~1300 pixels (two ports gpio (TX on nodemcu) and gpio2 supporting 680 each). He said any more would run into timing and delay issues. I haven't been able to get it to work but I think it's my software, I'll try madmapper. Which line should be edited to increase # of universes?
It was me, I wasn't telling madlight that I was on universe 1 on my Nodemcu, now it works like a charm over wifi, impressive. - thank you for this example and guidance man! ruclips.net/video/I1e8y__V51c/видео.html

what is software to control led ? How i want to control 2000 led ws2812b ?

do the macbook has to be connected by ethernet and not wifi to see the device?
