It may be the cheapest, and the last time I ate there was January 2020, but I remember it actually being one of my favourite buffets, I much prefer it to Chuckwagon cafe
So nice to see a review on this one! I haven't really seen recent videos of it. I've been to La Cantina a few times but like you it isn't my favorite and I prefer other buffet restaurants in the resort over it. Chuck Wagon is almost the same price yet has a lot more choices on offer and I find the theming just more pleasant to dine in. Same with Hunter's Grill and Cape Cod. They are only a few euros more expensive yet I find quality and choices there are definitely worth those few euros more + they are cozier to be seated in my opinion. Downtown Restaurant is my absolute favorite but we've only managed to get a table there once, it's basically impossible if not staying onsite and booking very far in advance. Would love to see you do a review on Downtown to hear your thoughts on it!
Thank you for this video. I will be staying in the Santa Fe for the 1st time in February next year. I usually stay in Sequoia Lodge and eat in Hunters Grill. I also have a reservation for Downtown, which I am very excited for!
Hello! Love the video. We are planning to come to Disneyland Paris next year. I would love to see a walking tour of the Parks so we can understand the layout and size please ❤🥰❤
Great to see & hear your thoughts of The Santa Fe La Cantina restaurant, Sam. I have stayed there may years ago but only had breakfast there, so never tried the evening buffet. x
Hiho Sam, nice video as always. Funfact: when I browsed the homepage while I booked New Port Bay for Halloween next year a few days ago, I realised that Cheyenne rooms are actually cheaper than the ones of Santa Fee at the moment - no idea why. Maybe that helps some folks who prefer the Cheyenne and wanna visit DLP soon. I also got a personal request for you, dear Sam: Could you do the Royal Banquet at the DL-hotel early next year after reopening? I booked it but I'm DYING to learn more about the location and what's really going on in advance. (I know, curiosity kills the cat....🤭) Would you do that? You are our little info-princess, so that place would be fitting for you anyway... 😄
I was there last night [in 1st week December]. No steak, but there was white fish, beef pot roast, chicken moreau and "Mexican rice". The desserts were really good, especially the Mango torte!
And a lot of them are SO beautiful and amazing. Last time we had a waitress at Auberge during princess lunch in September...wow, she should have been Tiana!! She was so nice and said that she actually once tried to become a D-princess, but she was too tall for all complementing guys. 😅 A shame... - Great staff.
I've only been in La Cantina for the breakfast, but it seems ok :) I usually take the meal plan and we prefer to use it on the table service restaurant or the buffet inside the Parks (favorite is probabaly Agrabah Cafe or Billy Bob's). But for a winter stay, as the Parks close earlier, it can be a good option close to your room (great when you don't feel your feet anymore^^). I love your restaurant reviews :)
I love texmex food…this is right up my street….definitely be going here next time we’re staying at Cheyenne…… It’s very reasonably priced too…… We love a buffet especially all you can eat one……it always sounds fantastic but we’re not really big eaters so never end up having 1/2 the things we’d like to…..lol 👍🇬🇧
Hello Sam .. Thank you for your video.. I almost watched all of them about DLP 😂 May I asking what do you think about buffet dinner at downtown restaurant but at 10.30 pm reservation 😅 I saw they close at 11pm so is that mean we only have 30 mins for eating. ? And which restaurant do you recommend to try after downtown restaurant?? We will visit DLP next month
Sam do castmembers in the parcs and the hotels recognize you often? You visit them so much i can imagine you're a celebrity as well over there to all the prople working there
Thanks for looking for vegan food☺️always trying to get a quick look at the signs but it is usually so fast that it really helps you pointing it out🥹 Never been to La Cantina but for the prize I think as an omnivore I would try it, the problem I always have is that for a vegan the buffet prices are absurd. At least if there is some kind of dessert like in Agrabah Cafe etc. then it is ok but generally for vegans the pricing in comparison to the food variety in buffet restaurants in Disney is not ok🥲

Love your videos!!! I am going to Disney on Monday and I am super exited😄
Thank you! Have fun :)

Thank you! Agreed, Downtown is a great buffet! I already have a couple of videos on it on my channel :)

Royal Banquet vlog will come as soon as possible after it opens :) Thank you!
@@Sam4G0d Thank you very much! 😊
Love your video Sam. Many thanks🙏🙏
Agrabah restaurant is my favorite buffet restaurant 😍
I was there last night [in 1st week December]. No steak, but there was white fish, beef pot roast, chicken moreau and "Mexican rice". The desserts were really good, especially the Mango torte!
I had the same excited reaction to Mickey shaped cheese in Plaza Gardens 😂😂
Haha love it!
Thank god for your videos, they have helped me so much when choosing restaurants to book
We stayed there in October last year and everybody was so nice❤. Restaurant is very good too.
loved the video, it's always nice watching one of your videos!!
Thanks :)
It's amazing you call the people in the restaurants castmembers also, which they are in fact, so nice to see ! ❤

Great vlog Sam, do they show allergy information on the buffet? We are going in 2 weeks so it would be nice to know 😊xx

Agreed :) Thank you
I'm so hungry now! Love the potato gratin
I ate breakfast here last year. It was good.

WeAAayyyy hi 👋🏿 Sam ❤
Thank you for this. Staying there soon(27th October) do you need to book or do they do walk ins if not to busy?
Probs best to book, but it's quite an easy reservation to make, and they definitely do accept walk ups too :)
Thank you. we have other places booked but they are early like 4.30pm so if hungry later might pop in there.

Can you buy hot tea with milk in the parks/hotel restaurants
Think it looked nice but I prefer other buffets more
Am I weird for saying i liked the hotels theming better when it was just A Theming and not en Disney Theming. Same with Cheyenne
Plant based “MEAT”balls? They should call it by what it is: “no one knows what it is made of” balls 😂
Unfortunately, this one wasnt a hit with my son as I was hoping
Looks very messy on the food counters imo - which is disappointing as budget shouldn’t mean lower quality and standards.

Most welcome! Yeah, I can understand the buffet prices not being justifiable for vegans/vegetarians x
