It's eventually Hank Pym that has the best looking restaurant interior and unique compared the Marvel. You're doing great at editing your blogs. I can tell how much work how you put in this
Absolutely think downtown is way better than pym. A much nicer atmosphere in DT, amazing food which was hot and fresh. The desserts were amazing looking and tasted great too. The food at Pym was not all warm, some overcooked, some undercooked, extremely noisy and even with a reservation we had to wait for 40 minutes to get in the door. I would definitely go back to Downtown but I wouldn't return to PYM kitchen
Me and my boyfriend walked right by you while you were filming your final thoughts outside PYM’s kitchen. I did think it was taking a while but I see why now! We were actually heading to Crush’s Coaster to follow your tip in a previous video about riding it at close of park to avoid the longest queues - and it worked! So thank you.
Thanks for the video, Sam! ❤ Your channel is an amazing source for planning our own Disney trip(s). Can’t wait to eat at these restaurants.. yeah, we’re just going for both 😂
Wow your so dedicated to us Sam. This was a lot of planning ,filming and editing…Thanks so much. The kids menu at PYM is useless…our. Kids wouldn’t want any of that…hopefully they can have proper food from the “adult” section….. The food at Downtown looks much better…to me.. I love desserts and they definitely looked better Downtown…..I have just 1 small plate of normal food then 2 or 3 large plates of desserts…… If we eat at a restaurant hubby bless him knows to ask for the dessert menu at the start, because I choose my main course according to what the desserts are like….because they take priority over savoury lol….. The best buffet food at DLP is the breakfast buffet at Cheyenne….now thats AWESOME food… Thanks so much for munching your way through it all……👍🇬🇧
Totally agree. The Downtown is definitely better than PYM. Better foods You're right about the Cheyenne hotel that has actually the best Breakfast buffet
In the Pym Kitchen restaurant, if you order alcohol in themed glasses, at the end if you ask to take them home they give them to you, I took the 4 glasses of beer with the base for 20 euros and they gave them to me still packaged. We look forward to a ranking of the best buffet restaurants inside and outside the park. You are fantastic
Will you make a video about Restaurant Agrabah Café in the future? I was thinking of going there in my first trip to DLP, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it or if I should go to other buffet restaurants. Thank you!
Agreed, I’ve never seen a review on that cafe. I think it would be my favourite but I also don’t think there’s any ‘beige food’ there for my son to eat 😢
Your video is awesome :) it clearly shows all the work you put into making it! The problem is now I really want to try both buffet 🤣 Probably Pyms with my niece because it's more fun and with my partner and adult friends, Downtown!
Thank you Sam for this fantastic vlog. I'll enjoy both restaurants with my mum in 2 weeks so i'm curious to find out which one I prefer. Fun fact: as i'm german and you talk quite fast sometimes I watched this vlog with automatic subtitles. RUclips doesn't seem to know Pym. 😂 It was Pims Kitchen, Finns Kitchen, Kims Kitchen and some other I don't remember. Made me laugh so hard
@@FrancescoHoang PYM Kitchen was excellent. The whole atmosphere was so cool and the food was delicious. We ate way top much. 😂 Downtown was OK for me, but nothing special. We had it on our last day quite late in the evening and i was tired as hell. So i might misjudge it.
So useful, thank you! I'm vegan and was wondering about booking Downtown - think I'll book Manhattan instead after watching this. Really appreciate the effort you put into this!
I've eaten to PYM kitchen about 2 weeks ago , it's OK but wasn't great the theme is really good! We also ate at plaza gardens lunch buffet and felt that had more main choices. Really want to try Downtown next visit, those puddings look nice! X
Great editing, Sam!👍🏽 Appreciate your honesty, particularly about the crab vegan cake 🤣👍🏽 ( friends have been trying to convert me but I can never become vegan😝)
We have 4 kids aged 8-15 and they were amazed at Pym kitchen, I fully expected the food to be OK, ya know being more about the setting and atmosphere but we were pleasantly surprised, out server there was also the nicest most fun server we encountered. So so much fun
They were both amazing when we ate at them. I am still dreaming of the salmon at both places, the panna cotta from downtown and the wasp cake at pym. I think for food definitely downtown, themeing it was pyms
I’m not familiar with DLP restaurants so I’m sorry for the dumb question but is it possible to go to downtown restaurant without a reservation ? I’ll be my myself so I won’t take up much space but I can’t book on the app for my trip in November . What are my chances?
Yes, every restaurant always has some walk up places. My advice is to get there just before 6 pm (when the restaurant opens) and see what they say. It’s not guaranteed you’ll get a table, but there’s a chance 😁
Where can I get decent vegetarian food in Walt Disney Studios? I booked Chez Remy for lunch and PYM for dinner, but I'm not sure if it's a good choice. I didn't expect it would be quite a challenge to get nice meal in DLP.
We just returned back to Canada yesterday and ate at both places. Downtown I thought the tables were too close as well. Enjoyed both restaurants. But loved the ice cream at PMY
I visited Pym kitchen a few weeks ago and while some of the dishes were lovely there were a few dishes that had been left out under the heater a bit too long and had hardened rock solid. I feel like for the price Disney charges that the food should be up to a certain standard and level of quality. The theming itself is wonderful and I enjoyed having a giant pretzel to snack on later in the day 😅
Can someone help me.. so my boyfriend suprised me and is taking me to Disney in about two weeks. So now I wanted to suprise him with eating at a marvel restaurant. But we can't get an reservation anywhere because we are going over 2 weeks. Does anybody know if you can come in the restaurants if you don't have a reservation? Or do I need to look the morning of if something is cancelled? Thank you in advance 😊
You can always check the app in the morning to see if a spot opened up. What you can also do is ask the concierge at the hotel to see if there are spots free. We are going in september and i cant even get into downtown anymore. I did get a spot in pyms for lunch
You can wait for a walk up at almost all the sit-down and buffet restaurants at Disneyland Paris :) Though, it's of course, never a guarantee that you'll get in x
Sam, maybe you should carry zip locks bags with you in case you have snacks or food left over . You can save for later to eat for a midnight snack at the hotel. I don’t really like eating at buffet much. Too much food. I get full quickly. If you do eat at a restaurant I skip a meal before. Otherwise counter service is the way to go.
I'm vegetarian and found a lot of yummy things at PYM (the fried cauliflowers for kids are so nice !) but the crab cakes are terrible !!! dry and weird ;_;

Would love to eat at downtown, but never shows up at the Disney app. How big are the changes getting a table without a reservation?
This was soooo helpful, thank you!
The key to a good corn dog is the batter. It has to be corn flour with a hint of sweetness and slight crispness that makes it 😘 🤌

The only issue I’m finding at Disney is gluten free stuff.. I think I’ll manage but yeah seems limited on the gluten free side of things.
