David Mitchell crossed with Ben Elton and Shakespeare is a match made in british comedy heaven
I don't know whether to shout and cheer that this is this generation's Blackadder.....or break down in tears about it
Just discovered this series. I love it!!!
I dont understand why this series didnt get Decommissioned whilst that utter 70s throwback Mrs Browns Boys is still plagueing our screens
7:38 😂 at this point, I had to pause or die laughing
19:43 😂
6:28 'His Grace the Lord Egeus.' wait, is he an [arch]bishop or something?
Probably a Duke, who are also addressed as His/Your Grace. (Except royal dukes, who are addressed as His/Your Royal Highness.)
@@henrygaida7048 that was the alternative but then again a duke doesn't have the word 'lord' in his form of address. and younger sons of dukes don't get the 'his grace'. it's either or, not both.
therefore he should be one of the lords spiritual for it to make sense, right?
a most unciviliSED imposiTION
mark heap is a genius
Is Spencer Jones purposely copiing David Brent? :D
He is
Far too intelligent funny and requires some decent general knowledge. BBC no longer follows the original concept.
Complete fiction, like the idea that Shakespeare of Avon wrote the plays he is credited for
Do you think this is supposed to be a documentary?
Oh.. notvrealthen😂
I wonder what happened in the cinematography meeting for this show, where someone apparently successfully pitched the idea to make the entire show look completely dreadfully orange and brownish. Every scene, every angle, no exceptions. I've never seen a show more painful to the eyes.
so we're all laughing at the word _bottom_ are we now... pathetic
Yeah, but this is set over 400 years ago. It's much better now.
