I showed her the cover of the book and, with a few modifications, she was sold. I've never built a shed but I do have some framing knowledge. The info on roofing is very helpful to me. I was also psyched that the section for the shed on the cover had measured drawings for the trim boards and keystone pieces for the gable ends and over the windows. Should make life a little easier for me.

I hope this dude lives there, looks like a nice little habitat-able shed. With that water tank he could easily rig a shower in there or just hose-bathe with whats already there. Very jealous of that living in a shed settup.
Ideally, roof rainwater should be passed through a simple filter to remove the fungus organisms that grow in bird droppings. The fungus, if ingested in certain quantities, can prove fatal to humans by invoking a respiratory disease. In Caleb's shed's case, because it is not overhung by trees, birds would usually not perch on the flat surface, as it's not natural to them. I would be wary of birds perching on the ridge of the rood, so perhaps installing a set of bird deterrent spikes along the roof ridge or any hips would alleviate that.

It really doesnt matter for modern batteries, but back in the day batteries had wood and glass in them and leaving them on the floor would cause humidity to affect them. You batteries are fine

it depends where you buy. out in the country where you can buy acreage land like this is very cheap. maybe AUD $50,000 per acre. But in the cities. Sydney in Particular A tiny 30m2 apartment would set you back AUD $500,000. The problem is there is no jobs out in the outback so most people in Australia cannot take advantage of the cheap land in outback but if you can work from home like do youtube then you are lucky.
