I made this animation in almost two months. I wanted to sum up all his forms in a transition. It was a hard idea but I'm happy I could make it!

0:00 - 0:14 Living as a child filled with misfortune and abuse. Replacing the flower on the God statue every day with fresh flower. Making his God as his reason to live.
0:15 - 0:18 Becoming one of the army soldier during war to fight with his God. Protecting his God inside the cave from the Tender land's flower.
0:19 - 0:26 Died in battlefield and become a weak ghost fire. Got caught by a lantern merchant and was released by his God, who bought the lantern. Asked by his God why he didn't go to reincarnate, and answered that he needs to protect his beloved that's still in the mortal realm.
0:27 - 0:30 Filled with agony and resentment as he could only watch as his God got repeatedly stabbed by others because of Bai Wuxing. Evolved into a malicious ghost and burned the people inside the temple.
0:31 - 0:43 Became Wuming (Nameless) to serve his God. Took Fang Xin from his God and got devoured by the tens of thousands Xianle's soldiers souls filled with resentment that got sealed inside the sword, so that his God doesn't have to do it. Died for the second time.
0:44 - 0:51 Gouge his own right eye to make a weapon called E-Ming to protect some humans, even though his soul was already on the verge of collapse.
0:52 - 1:00 Ascend as a new God but refused the ascension and instead descended to become a Supreme ghost king.
1:01 - 1:04 Became San Lang to meet with his God once again and stayed by his side.
1:05 - 1:11 Revealing his identity as Hua Cheng and stayed together with Xie Lian to protect and help him. Turning into silver butterflies after the final fight and disappear in his Xie Lian's arms. Died for the third time.
This made me sob a lot.
The reason why he chose not to ascend is because Xie Lian was not there at that time and he is the only believer left in the mortal realm
To ensure that Xie Lian will still be okay, he descended to be a ghost and built the temple of thousand gods and the Qing Deng temple In the ghost city to worship him
@@kristalesavalensoy4172 Same. Hua Cheng's life is really miserable. He was so weak before that he wanted to commit suicide but decided not to because of his Danxia, and to live for him as his reason.
Glad he got his own happy ending with his Danxia

1. He is abused as a child and has suicidal tendencies. Very depressing.
2. He found light through Xie Lian and decides to devote his life to him by joining his army.
3. He dies and becomes a ghost spirit.
4. Xie Lian is tortured and Hua Cheng could only witnessed it since he was just a weak ghost flame.
5.Hua Cheng puts on the mask and disguises himself. His identity is kept a secret from Xie Lian. He dies for him.
6. Hua Cheng is back and trains hard to eventually become the ghost king, he creates his weapon from his own eye.
7. Hua Cheng ascends and descends multiple times.
8. Under the name San Lang, Hua Cheng keeps his true form from Xie Lian.
9. Hua Cheng shows his true form to Xie Lian.
10. Hua Cheng uses his spiritual powers for his dianxia and vanished, turned into butterflies.
11. Extra: After a year Hua Cheng comes back and lives happily with Xie Lian, he will forever be his most devoted believer( and future husband :3).
wait...the extra is real??? I mean does it have a happy ending? cus is a damn long novel hahaha and I am just halfway :/
What is 7. Ascending and descending multiple times ?? Can someone explain?
I kinda skipped some parts in novel (feng xin and mu qing fighting parts)... Now I feel like I missed other things too 🥲
@@jelly4074 It was confirmed in book five that Hua Cheng acended to godhood after ripping out his eye to form E-ming to save the group of people we was with on the mountain. Then he immediately jumped back down to become a ghost king through the mountain trial. But it wasn't multiple times I don't think?
@@bellama920 Just so he could become powerful enough to protect Xie lian he declined godhood nd persevere for being a ghost king. He had an extreme determination.

Aww I suddenly remembered the time wherein Hua Cheng was asked what is the saddest/painful thing that happened in his life (?) I can't quite recall the exact question but his answer is watching someone you love suffer and you can't do anything about it. I can feel his helplessness during that time.

I feel this pain! I have experience this kind of situation where someone suffered but u cant do anything to help that someone 😔
amazing. Hua Cheng's drive is incredible. He died three times. Became a god and a demon king. all while waiting 800 years for his true love and soulmate. Best boy
He didn't die in the final battle! His ashes are fine, but he, as an unsurpassed demon, will not die just like that. He just ran out of spiritual powers and left to recover.

In the novel i didnt feel it at all, but it was sad. The part of the mask, the sword and the falling flower ...
I know this was Hua Cheng's life, but he was alive for only like- 3 seconds

You just capture the essence of all the Hua Cheng’s history, the movements, the transitions, I really feel this animation, so amazing, and at the end Hua Cheng looks like someone who has lived a lot of time and the drawing transmite all that transitions. That weak little green ghost light who met Xie Lian in his ‘final moments’ turned into this strong faithful believer of Crown Prince XianLe forever.

Ah the butterflies 😭 you could've put Hualian together at the end 🥰😍. Still, its absolutely amazing and im very happy you made this. I felt emotional missing them 😥

Even if I can't see it very well 'cuz of my tears, the animation looks great and tf how could you draw so good without sobbing about what you're actualy doing-
I still think about the time when Hua Cheng refused ascending, the very thing that almost everyone in their world wanted, just so he could really be Xie Lian's most devoted believer,, it really makes you think how truly special and pure his love is for him
the transitions are beautiful. my fav scene was the fire one. the fire looked so adorable
This is so pretty and smooth! I love the little details like how Hua Cheng falls to the ground clutching his head after gaining a form from the ghost fire or how his eye was bleeding and E-ming's eye was blood red when he formed the sword! Awesome work! 💕

From the ghost fire to a human form, the despair of seeing XL suffer, The red eye and then bleeding eyesocket with E-ming and ascending then falling back were just perfect!
The animation was just beautiful and now I’m like almost crying…
