One of my characters had a pet ooze. Her name was Ellie jr. She lived in a bottle when she wanted to and she purred by jiggling.
I imagine Gelatinous Cubes have some weird quirk where they will only split or fuse together if the resulting mass would creat a perfectly scaled cube. So for a 20' Gelatinous Cube to form via fusion, it would take eight 10' Gelatinous Cubes to succeed, otherwise the cubes would just bump into one another and try to go around each other or turn around like giant amorphous Roombas.
Also worth mentioning is Ssendam. She's (or maybe he's) one of the Slaad Lords, chaotic neutral creatures that rule Limbo, and possibly the most powerful. She's a huge and powerful golden amoeba-like ooze with a brain inside, who has powers of insanity, rules a golden castle, and can shapeshift into a humanoid or a golden Slaad.

Great vid - needed this to help with my understanding of green slime - quick thought ! Dungeons, caverns, dank and dark places are filled with vermin so perhaps this is how they perpetuate before gorging on adventurers - however, you’re correct, in that, why does green slime exist ? 😅 awesome video - more please

on one of your previous videos i commented that id recently finished "House of Serpents" trilogy, and its very coincidental that in the first book there is a fight against an ooze. specifically a diseased ooze that worshipers of talona summoned. it was scary!

how could there be multiple versions of slime if they reproduce by splitting? i mean it is not like there DNA changes. or are the multiple species of slime not related and just happen to have to be simmilar
probably your second comment. There are different slims and molds on earth all from the same family. Kinda similar I'd guess :D

Jorphdan I found it. It’s called Cadash. I remember play that game in my teens at video game arcades. It came out in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
I’m the 777th person to like
