"I interviewed TB back in December for our podcast and at that point he had only been releasing music for a little under two years. He had some crazy early success on his first few tracks, but that day it was very clear to me that he knew that there was more to his new-found career than just rapping. His mindset was already shifted into how he could use his notoriety from music to spread love, help, and hope into his neighborhood of Evanston on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio. In this piece we explore how TB wants to nurture the future of his community, while recognizing the “bloody, dirty history” of its past and how to move forward from it.
