IOTA TALK: Theology and Life: From Hollow Information to Joy-filled Transformation | P. Kariatlis

Unlike the modern practice of the theological enterprise today, which has often been reduced to being no more than an intellectual inquiry, this talk will focus both on theology’s uniquely ‘existential’ nature, namely, its relevance for everyday living. It is hoped that such insights will provide not only a helpful way forward for theology to regain its relevance in society today, but also show the way that learning about God is able to enrich our day to day life and the way that we are called to relate to one another. Moreover the talk will bring to light that theology is nothing less than a transformative experience of encountering Christ, and his joy-filled presence in all things!
