Very nice. I've got the 2018 Premier version. The differences being it has Seymour Duncan designed pickups and no coil tap/split. The tones ok for me but I may brave a PUP upgrade at some point.
You know I almost went with the Premier at first, because they too were at a crazy discount. But the Pup upgrade you get with the Deluxe was the kicker for sure.
Hey, I got a red one like yours in spring of '20 except with the groovy lattice tail piece. I like the 6 way switch. My nut was glued in. What's not to like. I originally got the Premier DC from Guitar Center for $300 (no case). Used but perfect. Then I saw the Deluxe for $600 on Reverb (with case). Again used but perfect so I got that. I had a couple of weeks with both of them and they were both great. The Deluxe pickups sounded a bit better when played back to back but frankly I'd have been fine with the Premier. Except in my mind.

Hi Joey, I have the same one, same color... Nut was glued in, haven't noticed anything wrong with that. I love it, especially pickups, versatility is huge. And it works great with pedals. And after I got used to the toggle switch, I've found it much more comfortable than traditional 3 way. The only objection would be the size as I prefer smaller body
Thanks that helps me to confirm I’ll just tack in some super glue under the nut next time i change the strings. Yea these SD humbuckers are just so sweet sounding!

I have a similar one, same year but matte black with no f-holes. The nut *is* glued in.
I almost got the matte black “sans F-Hole”.. very BB King Lucille! Thanks for the intel on the nut!
