For those who didn't notice: the title is a nod to each artist's big tracks. Codename X by Excision was definitely iconic for its time. I haven't listened much to it but Reckless by Sullivan King was also popular.
I recognize songs like Rumble, Decimate, & Fight Through The Pain by Excision (some of my personal favorites from him) and songs like Road Dog Anthem, FYU, & Unbound By Sullivan King (Also personal favorites). But somehow this is my least favorite collab from Excision & Sullivan King, Unbound & Bass To The Dome are peak
Anyone else think the "FUCK IT" before the first drop sounded like when Will Ramos screamed "Fucking" in the breakdown from To the hellfire? Specifically when he says "As you pass through the fucking gate" Edit: It totally is! Unmistakable vocalist!!!
The fact that this Song drop right After code: Pandorum return make It so "well timed" release, even the name of the Song remind It, i love Sullivan heavy sounds , excision Is insane, what can a heavy Dubstep lover ask more? 🤟🖤🙏🏻
they are talented, with great potential but this is boring, lately all this kind of dubstep with metal is similar, same drops same intro then screaming a word then the drums and drop... wow how original. I repeat I like both artists, I saw Excision twice and im a big fan but this is lazy work, or at least not original.
Definitely. Metal and dubstep fusions used to be pulled off very well. PhaseOne being the obvious example. But lately, it just seems like a gimmick to me, rather than an actual fusion of styles and ideas. I also have a feeling we’ll be getting a lot of Techno-Second Drop songs from artists in the coming year. It used to be Psytrance second drops, but now techno seems to be the new trend.
@@threeholepunchjim721 yes, they go with what did the mainstream instead of being original, I think KTN started the psytrance drop thing, then they started doing the same, MustDie did the hardstyle drop and again they started doing the same,... Samplifire with Molitor he gave hommage to the French Touch and he put techno in the 2nd drop and now they spam it.
