I personally think y'all did a great job introducing his first foods. All any of us first time parents can ever do is practice trial n error until u find the foods he does love or at the very least can n will tolerate. Most of these commenter parents seem to have forgotten the trial n error stages they went thru n experienced with their own children... So once again why not practice what ur own parents most surely taught u - If u cant say nothing nice then dont say nothing at all. But seriously I think y'all did great. n he sure is adorable n has his own unique way of expressing himself. Great job, n just ignore all the negative opinions that keep getting thrust back at u.
I'm not so sure about all that but at the age of 2.5 yrs now he gives similar reactions to veggies. The rice cereal experience seems to have no lasting ill effects. But thanks for your comments.
He is adorable! I had my last child in 1999. I noticed much has changed since then. Babies are fed at what to me seems a very early age. We were told no baby food until 6 months. Babies are also being potty trained much younger as well! Some are only weeks old! I am amazed at how much has changed in less then 20yrs. Hope he enjoys it more next time! He's such s cutie!
Sharon McHugh you got that right, but as long as they can swallow and drooling decreases, they won't have a problem. I do notice from many videos that the children seem to be pushed at an early age. I noticed those eating at 5 to 6 months have a much easier time of it and the younger ones cry and cry when they are being fed, I feel so bad for them. They even yell and push the food away, look at what is happening here!
Here is your clue: FIRST EXPERIENCE! up until this point all a baby knows is sucking, you know...bottle, boob, nipple, paci! ALL HE KNOWS IS SUCKING WHICH IS WHY YOU TRAIN THEM THROUGH STAGES, TEXTURES, THICKNESSES! good grief!
That's a torture! That is not good for the babys mind. The baby is feeling a mental pain, becouse the parents don't notice his need. Maybe rice cereal is healthy, but unhealthy for the mind!
OMG I cannot STOP laughing!!! LMAO!!! 'rice cereal is unhealthy for the mind'?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! He's just fussing...not being abused. Babies have to get used to new tastes and textures otherwise he'll be still on the tit when he's 35...LOL!! NO babies do not get choices!! They don't even have a brain enough to decided....GOOD LORD!!!
Wasn't even posted recently it was 13 years ago but you know what That's so stupid to just keep feeding him it's he got water for so-called cereal and if he doesn't like it then you're doing something wrong pick up a different type of cereal Make it thicker use a different formula something Don't keep feeding it to him That's just wrong

💯💯💯💜
Love his little dimples.❤He’s still hungry.

In spite of all his troubles, he even manages to flash an adorable smile!
Gracias 🙂 lo entendéis en seguida.Sis personas complacientes ¡¡¡ me encanta !!! 💖
Thicken that cereal, heap it on his spoon and feed him! You're teasing him with the little droppings on the spoon..
I agree. I don't know why you'd make it so watery. Looks like dirty dish water....ugh!!!
Nancy Core . I agree, except in starting him out, I would take care not to thicken it too much.

What a little cutie! He tried, just couldn’t do it!LOL!
Why do soms parents force a baby to eat solids at such a young age. He doesn’t like it at all. Stop laughing and give him a bottle.
Thank you. He's a great baby/toddler.
Looks too young for solid for sure. That baby needs his milk, what's the rush giving him solid food.
This baby already has the parents trained.
the texture probably freaks him out. hehe hes very cute!
Yeah...with baby #2 it's been only purées; ditched the rice cereals. Much, much better.
So cute with that dimple. He tried.

He's cute but he doesn't like it. I agree babies are rushed to solid food way too soon.
Thank you.
Aw your baby is super cute♥️
Ciao che bello bambino carino anche la sua famiglia e bella carina come il bambino ciao tutti
Here is your clue,,, Baby is to young to spoon feed, needs his bottle and the liquid u was feeding was just that ,liquid.
He was sucking the spoon.

Ciao grazie anche avoi famiglia che avete un bello bambino ciao tutti
He probably wonder why your feeding him his milk with a spoon
no it isn't torture, all babies react differently to new foods, as for feeling mental pain lol, im sure he forgot all about it pretty quickly!!
How old is he in this? Looks kind of too young for solids. Just a thought, that's all.
what is she feeding him water or real thing cereal .
Don't force it, if he wants it he'll eat it.
Poor boy

@Aaron Schumacher Too drastic!
Boy he's sure got a big melon on him but he's super cute.
Google for attachment theory.
The baby forgot the situation, but not his feeling.
That sounds like some Scientology bullshit.
he obviously doesn't like it
That is too cute.
Warum ist das Essen so flüssig? ????
Macht es dicker.
Ausserdem Viel zu jung für das Essen
+Ovular87 Are you insane??

Looks too young, give it awhile longer
