Great comparison video! I am waiting to get an Allan 63 or 62. I like the larger size and though I never wrote in a Bible I want to start. Leave something for my kiddos to go through one day.
The kids are the only reason why I Mark in mine... well you all too. I've been told by several people watching my videos & seeing my Bibles post has encouraged them too also Mark up their own Bibles and they have now stepped out of that scary box of fear of "messing up their Bibles!" Now they have experienced a active spiritual journey throughout their Bibles with God. They all mentioned how it no longer feels like a one sided conversation anyone. I tell you this because I am not trying to brag or anything I just wanted to explain why I Mark in my Bibles and now I have bigger moment in life I believe all from God. He's set us all on Fire for Him praise the Lord... All Glory to God ❤️🔥 🙌 🙏
Thanks for sharing sis! I was a little surprised that they didn’t choose to use the same color purple but then you made a real good point - it’s like a different bible. A cousin of the 62. Purple is purple I guess regardless of the shade - it’s a blackberry color, so that’s kind of cool!
Had to watch this again. I got the 52 Longprimer awhile ago, was trying to remember the 62 if I wanted it. Yes! But it will have to wait until they bring it back and I have saved up for it.
It is a completely different color, from now on they will distinguish the bright purple as PL and the darker purple with just the P. The 62s coming out in the next month or so will be the brighter purple.
Allan Bibles are fantastic. I will be ordering an ESV when the opportunity arises next. The differences between the various editions of the Longprimer seem to be the size of the page and the thickness (weight) of the paper.
If they did cover the words it would be a little random word that would be missed to understand the verse. But...but noooo anything that looks covered up and be lifted up from the page. In the Bible Garden/Bible Journaling community we use way more than one Bible for our spiritual walk. Many of us will have a Bible we can be created in which means during our worship time or Bible study time the Spirit leads us to freeing our soul and breaking whatever chains satan has tried to bind us to through our Creative perspectives. So we never think about (ohhhh can I read the reads when I'm done!?) Because we have others or another Bible that we have purchased for that sole purpose. That Bible won't be highlighed marked in any way. Than we have our study Bibles whichhelps us drive deeper into scripture. Anyways hope this helps
It is beautiful! I do have a question for you regarding calfskin Bibles. I am not sure if the beautiful Bible you are reviewing is as floppy as the Schuyler Canterbury... but if it is, how are you transporting your Bible back and forth to church safely??? I called Evangelical Bible to ask them about this. I was thinking about how floppy my Bible is. It’s beautiful to feel in my hands,l and oh so supple, but I worry about having it in a Bible cover and have it flipping around like some kind of wet pasta noodle in there and messing it up one way or the other. 😲😩 I’m afraid it would really get damaged that way. 😳. The woman I had spoken to said that most people with premium Bibles just carry them around with no cover at all. Well, living in an area where it just give it five minutes and the weather will change, makes me ponder how much I will even be able to ever take it out. Then there would only be a need for a premium Bible or two at the very most, if you would only take it out on the very best weather days. But that Bible sure is stunning! 🤤

So the font size and boldness is the same in both of these bibles?
