- Someone asked in a comment what advice I would give someone starting from the very beginning who wanted to get into woodworking. Although I tried to answer that person's question as best I could in a reply, I felt like the topic really merited a full video. Hope you enjoy it!

So beautiful. So elegant. So wonderful. Just looking like a WOW.
If your looking to buy used battery power tools check to make sure the company is still selling that style of battery and that you can find them at a reasonable price. Batteries don’t last forever, and if you can’t fine good replacements you will have a worthless tool.
I’d also take a good look at the type of motor and preferably buy brushless, as well as checking the availability of spare parts.
Good tip!
Thank you for your several explains about other videos, websites and books and specially your nice talks. Auf Deutsch: Mach’s gut ❤
Also very good youtube chanels are Rex Krueger and even one of the best chanel is Paul Sellers.
Hi! Just found your channel earlier today and immediately liked it. I watched the mountains wall hanger you made, and it was gorgeous. I now just want to see you build more stuff, it’s inspiring
Thank you! That is all very kind of you to say
Nice to love helping people. Good luck to you. Take good care of yourself
good afternoon!
I'm Alécio, I live in Florianópolis - Santa Catarina - Beasil. I love your videos, I don't understand what you're saying, but I want to leave here all the affection I have for your work. thank you, have a nice weekend
Thanks for encouraging beginners!
Consider investing in a good scroll saw. It will take your wood art to the next level. Love the content. Keep up the great work.
This is very helpful - thanks! 👍🏼
Very helpful🫰 Creating my own workshop is my dream, but currently, I have no resources to fulfill that. I hope I will achieve my dream like you one day ❤ Love all the way from India 🇮🇳
Good Advice!
I’m really enjoying your videos - very informative and inspiring. Totally agree about building up your tool collection as you go along. I’ve gone down the Dewalt route for most tools because once you have a few batteries and a charger you can just buy the tools themselves so it works out ok price-wise.
Glad you're enjoying the videos :)
great channel thanks for inspiring me, I am beginning on this. Thank you
That chess table looks amazing! I don't have a dedicated space, and so I store everything in my apartment and bring it to the rooftop whenever I'm going to work on something, so I totally agree with your advice on how to work with a reduced space. Thanks and keep it up!
Thanks! Nice, I love hearing about other people finding ways to create even with space limitations
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
A very inspiring video for the novice diyer
Good thoughts. I have seen many great woodworkers leave us, but there are still many people who are very knowledgeable replacing them. Yes we are moving from more of hand tools to power tools, CNN, 3D printers etc. and I am not to happy about that. Learning to use hand tools is so satisfying as compared to a whirling blade or bit of some kind. As for RUclips, I have subscribed to at least seven hundred WW, DIY, makers of all types - great source. Learn everything.
Thank you
🤍🤍🤍
Very nice
Mr Ramsey does great videos
As does all the others you recommend
Thanks for the video
Buy the best tool you can afford on tools you will be using most often. Convenience will make projects more enjoyable. I’d recommend buying a good brand corded vs a cheap brand cordless. You will get a better tool, not waste money on junk short life batteries, it will last longer, have more power and most of the time they can be more affordable.
Hello Helena. I just arrived your channel and I so happy because I learning english for my own (i wish travel to EEUU someday). Glad you enjoyed it!
@@elenamakes yeah i really enjoyed it... terima kasih, salam dari indonesia.
How nice ❤❤
I landed up replacing my corded Bosch tools with Ryobi cordless as the Bosch broke (all too freequently, typically within a year or so of purchase but outside warranty). I watch channells that feature Festool etc., not envious, but thinking "how can I do that with the tools I have, or, wehat tools on my battery platform would I need to do that.
I'm a big fan of ryobi mainly because of the battery platform but the price is really good also.
I agree. I bought one of their combo kits when starting out because it had all the tools I wanted (and some I didn't) and it was cheap...still use mostly Ryobi to this day some 6 years later.
Nice, lots of people I know have Ryobi tools they love working with
Pallets stuck with me. I’ve seen some cool projects involving them. I’d like to get some of those mini tools (ie: table saw).
Verynice
A good start could be repairing a piece of furniture and building something small for yourself.
I'd be careful with used pallets, because you possibly don't know how and where they were used.
The wood could be contaminated with chemicals and who knows what.
When repuposing wood, look out for hidden nails or screws. Hitting even one nail could easily dull or break drill bits and saw blades.
Good things to keep in mind for sure
Genial !!
I love you 😊
Courage a toi😉
You definitely can't go in thinking you're going to be perfect on every project. Mistakes happen ALL the time to even the most seasoned woodworkers. You just have to learn from the mistakes (fixing them creates "design details" 😉) and move on. And one of the most important things I've learned is to stay focused and take your time. Both can lead to mistakes and/or injuries...ask me how I know about a shop-related injury from a lapse in concentration.
Definitely. Of course, big risky mistakes are to be avoided but small ones will happen and it’s about how you adapt :)
I have power tools, but I have recently taken up hand tools. Chisels, hand planes, hand saws. Hey they work fine, are cheaper, and dont require electricity! I guess a battery drill and driver are worth the money. I work in my 2 car garage, on one side, for all my hobbies. build rex kreugers low workbench, cheap and very versatile.
I’ve heard from seasoned woodworkers that working more with hand tools makes you a better woodworker
Good advices
🥰🥰🥰
a stable workbench is so important. i make nothing without it.
a workbench was my first big woodworking project. before, I used a small dresser with planks on top to create a larger work surface. not ideal.

What is the material that you used for the wall of your warehouse? It looks like light but hard... 🙄
OSB plywood
