Kiting Lake Norman, just outside of Charlotte NC. Hurricane Irene providing some really good wind for the area. This was actually my first session in freshwater!
@llamasrage Its called a microloop. North used to put them on their kites that had alot of bar pressure. you can sheet the bar in all the way and hook the micro loop onto a hook on the chicken loop so your arms can take a break from holding on or for keeping the kite sheeted in during a grab or no handed trick like a deadman
