Caitlyn in the very first teaser right after the release of season 1: If I go after your sister alone, one of us comes back in a box."
I think Vi joined the enforcers to make sure that her sister gets captured alive before she can cause any more death and destruction. If they actually manage to capture her alive, things might get complicated: I can easily imagine that some people want to see her dead for what she has done, Jace and Ambessa Medarda for example...

    Some thoughts:
First of all, we have to consider that recently, Riot stated that everything produced by them from now on, whicever the media, is 100% cannon, and that this starts with Arcane season 1. What that implies is that playable characters won't die. Beacuse it's not that simples, the implications for league's universe, for the games, for future projects etc are huge.
That means at least Viktor and Jayce survive that rocket - and if we could rely on Viktor's modifications as an excuse for huim surviving, that's not true for Jayce. He wasn't carrying his hammer on that meeting. So, probably, the rocket impact and explosion will probably be stoped or atenuated by something. I guess it could be Mel's armor, but I think it's very unlikely that. Everything in this show is very well tied up toghether storytelling wise, and nothing, at any moment, hinted anything about her clothes being magic or something like that.
I feel that it will probably have something to do with Viktor and the hexcore. Viktor usually is not part of the concill's meetings, but ther he was on this one. I feel that thats the part he was put there to play.
But I also do not think they'll spare all of them. Would be a little farfetched, I guess... I mean, they end the first season with a clif hanger like THAT only to begin the next one resolving it magicaly and leaving it with only simbolic implactions? I don't think so. I'd bet on Jayce, Viktor, Mel and maybe one or two others living, and the rest of them diying - including Cait's mom, beacuse that woul be a nice fuel for her from this point on, story wise...
    Makes sense?

If that girl is Marcus’s daughter then there would most likely have had to be a time skip of at least ten years or so, which wouldn’t make sense considering a war just started at the end of last season. I doubt they’d skip to starting in the middle of the war, and I doubt it took that long for the war to start. I think toonaholic was right when he says she’s most likely a relative of marcus and his daughter.

Caitlyn will be gunning for her in revenge for Jinx's attack on Piltover,Vi will be torn but will join the Enforcers in hopes she can find Jinx and prevent Caitlyn from killing her sister. However I am worried they will pull a self sacrifice play. Having Jinx save her sister at the last moment at the cost of her own life.

@@POWPOW-cu4dt11 I do not think Jinx is villain, but an anti-hero. many have compared her to the Joker however Jinx has reasons why she does what she does while the Joker is a Dog who chases cars just cause. Most of what she does is to prove she is useful & competent. She also tags her ventures to get recognition also to prove Mylo and even Vi was Wrong about her. Jinx really needs someone in her corner because right now she has no one. Vi will join the enforcers in hopes she can find her sister but mostly to prevent Caitlyn from killing her sister. Jinx will see Vi as betraying Zaun by join teh enforcers only getting half truths about why vi joined up. I Hope Jinx does not die

Jinx is a character in Riot Games' League of Legends media franchise. She was introduced as a playable champion in the October 2013 update for the 2009 video game of the same name, which was complemented by the animated music video "Get Jinxed" to commemorate her official debut. Jinx is depicted as a manic and impulsive criminal from Zaun who serves as the archenemy of the Piltover enforcer Vi. The Netflix animated series Arcane explores the character's origin story as Powder, Vi's younger sister who, following a series of family tragedies, is taken in and raised by the crime lord Silco.

Illustrator Katie De Sousa posted conceptual artwork of the "gun-toting, braid-rocking criminal" that would ultimately become Jinx on a bulletin board for potential ideas at Riot Games.[1] De Sousa wanted to create a "completely insane female villain who is beyond any kind of reform or rehabilitation" for League of Legends.[2] De Sousa was also a fan of "Attack Damage Carry" (ADC), a term used to describe champions that deal high levels of continuous damage in matches. The character was given the codename "Psycho Arsenal" and remained on the board for months until August Browning, seeking to make a weapon-swapping ADC, decided to develop her with De Sousa, while her backstory was written by Graham McNeill.[3] They avoided giving her a "sexy persona" and instead depicted her as a pale and slender woman who wielded disproportionately oversized weapons to make her stand out from other female League champions.[1] The Joker, Gollum, and actress Helena Bonham Carter served as primary inspirations for Jinx's character.[2][4]
To commemorate Jinx's in-game debut, an animated music video starring the character titled "Get Jinxed" was released on the League of Legends RUclips channel.[5] Jinx would officially join League of Legends in the October 2013 update.[6] Sarah Anne Williams provided the character's voice for most of the games and videos she featured in.[7][8] Jinx's origin was later expanded upon when she was adapted by Christian Linke and Alex Yee for the animated streaming series Arcane.[9][10][11][12] The first season was released on Netflix in November 2021.[13][14] Ella Purnell voices Jinx in the series, while Mia Sinclair Jenness voices a younger version of the character in Act 1.[15][16]

idk if anyone already pointed it out but pls listen to some theories I disagree on.
So in the promotional Poster, Jinx is holding Vi in kind of the same way Vi was holding her when she was still Powder.
It might stand for Vi growing a lot in season 2, just like Jinx had to in season 1.
So with having that in mind, looking at the next teaser, it is likely showing that there will be another timeskip. When you especially focus on Caitlyn, she looks older or at least different to before but Vi rly doesn’t.
I think that could be a symbolic choice to show that lots of growth still lies ahead of her in the season, at that given moment.

Can someone tell me if it's guaranteed that the characters from LOL will survive or if they could die. Personally as someone who doesn't like LOL and only it's world intrigues me, I don't think Riot and Fortiche should limit themselves by not being able for someone to die to create a better story. I would really hate for that to be the case.
