Fear can be a great motivator to improve your skills! Mike Tyson the best boxer in the world was scared stepping into the ring. The antidote to fear is preparation and training!

Great vid, Tim!! I'm coming from dual sport bikes and love doing slow speed.stuff. I'm about to purchase my first Harley (Low Rider S or ST). When I sit on the stock bikes I'm really thrown off by the set up and how it will feel doing slow speed stuff. Obviously would have to make the bike my own etc. Good vibes!

Thank you! I would love to get a dual sport next actually. You are definitely getting one of the best bikes Harley has to offer and so many ways to make it your own! I’m sure you’ll get used to it tho 🤙🏼

Just swapped out my stock FXLRS bars with some 8" Burley bars on plain 5" risers and I now have more slack in my arms doing these slow speed manvs. So bar setup is a key thing. Before, it was harder to lean/counter lean on slow tight turns. Rain in the forecast for the next 4 days but need to practice before my advanced course on the 7th. Anyway, less nervous with the new bars. But as you know with this bike, fast and straight is what turns my smile into a loud, happy whoo-hoo!! Haven't pushed it past 90 yet because I'm such a baby, but still! 88mph feels GREAT! :)

Sounds like a great setup! Hopefully you're able to get some practice in before the class. I know the feeling! Went from a sportster to the low rider and anything above 80 felt crazy
