Amen. We never get to see the guys who do all the grunt work like cleaning, taping it off etc. Now if you need someone to do the peeling... I'm your girl! Just the thought of peeling a car clean gives my tummy butterflies. I know, I'm so weird, I hear I all the time. But tell me... Wouldn't you at least like to try it on a door or hood?? You know you would.
That would be awesome. I'm going to try this next year; I feel like its too late atm to only have this on for a couple weeks. I'd do it mid September to the last week of Nov to justify the cost.
Honestly the weathering took this from the white looks off but you've gotta use it to see the blood well, to looking incredible and surprisingly amazing.
Try soaking a rag with the faux blood dip, and create a smear effect by dragging it along the front corner and down the side a bit. Should look as if you hit something and it left a smear of blood.
You know what would be a great edition to this show. After each car gets painted, drive it down a busy street and film people's reactions to it. Edit: did not notice other people said the same thing before me
Missed opportunity there. You should have clipped in a scary image and a scream while doing the shots of the car outside. Bit of a Halloween scare prank. Car looks great, loving these new ideas.
That is just epic. You guys usually do a really great job. This just knocks it out of the park. The weathering just makes it so much more. The owner is definitely my hero lol.
Thats awesome. Really liking how you develop your product and have a go and a bit of fun along the way. Also the video editing, music on spot on too. Well done
Yes sir You just need alot more matte clear down over a normal base as it doesnt have the pigment to increase film strength Just what ive found over the years doing matte clear cars.
@@davepelfrey3958 In the wrong place at the wrong time, you might end up with a bunch of fat bites and if you smack a mosquito, it looks like you cut yourself 😂
Music and splatter pitches in slo mo, this is the smoothest DYC video yet lol. This looks awesome though, that lighting weathering/dirtying really sets it all off IMO.
Looks prettig good but something is off. I know ...all the blood is fresh. Tip for those who will try this at home. Use some brown tones to simulate dried blood. And use a powerful fan to simulate a good impact splatter.
pretty cool and creepy, thought the grill is way too clean, esp if you ran over someone but I realize it wouldn't come off with the peel. Unless you dip the grill too?
Ok. I see what you did here. Take it to the next level please. The car has survived hell and back and has been sitting in a barn for 50 Years. What does it look like after all that time? Yes I am saying combine last weeks rust and aging video with this one. Take a car with this blood splatter on it and then rust and age the hell out of it. That is truly the next level of what this needs to look like.
Stuff like that makes my creativity go wild... you could do so many things bulletholes, different shades of the cars color to simulate dents, cracks.. make it rusty.. or green as if it sat in a lake for two months, or just dress in throw away clothing put blood on head and maby knees, get up on the car and slip down leaving a bloody trail behind.. fake cracked windshield and lights even though that might not be suitable for traffic...
Can dip be applied by roller? I have an ambulance that needs to be painted like this, but it's too large to fit in a controlled environment to spray. I'd think for a few weeks of decoration, a roller could get a thick enough coat in one go and have it done in a weekend.
I love to see a video of you driving around just to see if you get pulled over probably with guns drawn too. This looks amazingly beautiful great job I love the theme I'd actually like to see more holiday themes
Do a video about can you spray dip over a wrap? Like doing this blood splatter doesn’t cover the whole car other than a base coat, can I dip spray over my wrap just for Halloween and then take off just the blood
Did you reduce the paint at all? I want to do this without plasti dip cuz I wanna leave it on the car then clear over it. But I need to know the right consistency of the paint.
I would like to do just a few blood splatter without doing the whole truck white first. Beginner so don't have any experience or the equipment and time for that. What can I do to avoid the initial mentioned problems?
Have a safe and healthy Halloween! 🎃
Said the one who killed like 20 zombies with his evo
Should have done the mustang, would have looked much more natural
seriously contemplating this for my SUV
Love the EVO.
Yall as well!
You may want to get a fan next time, as a bunch of the drips are vertical, which is fine for some, but you have movement also.
Props to the editor. Always putting the best music behind the video.
The music choice is good ye, only thing I would change is lower the volume a tiny bit during the montage at the end
Thanks for the feed back guys.

except the mustang already has a dip

Haha
Then it would never pass as a Halloween costume
Exactly my thought. Or maybe do it also on a redeye hellcat.👌🏻😂
You need a follow up video where you drive around and film people's reactions.
That's a great idea

I'd keep it year round, that looks amazing!
I have a Bela lugosi hood and roof wrap on my car, I'm really thinking of doing this , however permanently
I did my blood splatter with paint and made it permanent. I had Zombie Response Decals on it for over a year prior.
Should fill up water balloons with the paint, hang em up and drive into them.
Or you could just chuck the ballons at the car. Saves fuel that way right ?
I'm going for smiles per gallon
Same thing I thought
If someone wanted to do this over their original paint, would it be doable using a clear coat as a base instead of the white?
Yes sir
You just need alot more matte clear down over a normal base as it doesnt have the pigment to increase film strength
Just what ive found over the years doing matte clear cars.
Love to see it parked in front of the local Police Department. 😂😂
And then run in with blood all over your clothes, breathing hard and asking for help . . . . . . . with a flat. LoL.
this may be a dumb question, could you spray the car with a clear plastidip, and then do the red blood splatter?
Definitely Getting a gallon of the blood and some glossifier for my wheels. Unless you plan on coming out with a red anodized look.
This looks ABSOLUTELY SICK!!
