He’s operated large-scale flower rooms, mother rooms, veg rooms, and post-harvest crews. He also has a personal relationship with cannabis, using it daily to deal with lasting neuropathy and migraines from a C5 fracture

This was awesome my one thing to poke at is a lot of other plant scientist/ guest on the show have spoken against a heavy defoliation and and he almost recommends shwazzing. Super interesting

Though each variety of cannabis will have its own defoliation preferences for optimal yield and flower quality, a fairly heavy defoliation event at the end of early flower when a plant is done growing upward is ideal for many varieties. It's up to the grower to R&D and find that defoliation threshold per variety, though.
A heavy defoliation prior to the end of stretch will only result in a greater stretch and is more along the lines of Schwazzing.
