The pop-in problem is fixed by choosing the "ultra" option for "background model detail", and it actually doesn't affect performance that much. Just wanted to point that out👍
nope... this game has bad texture streaming... doesn't matter which setting you use... I have rtx 3060 12gb at 1080p from highest to lowest to custom I tried every possible graphics setting but popping still occurred... and surprisingly at lowest setting popping is less severe than highest setting....
@sankhasubhrahaldar380 Yeah no, I fear that's a problem with your specific PC. Setting background model detail to ultra basically removes all pop-in, although you can occasionally spot some grass or wall textures form in the distance. I saw a video of the game running on the highest settings on a rig with your GPU in it, and everything looked great. I have no idea how the lower settings could cause your pop-in to be less severe... Definitely sounds like a problem in your end🤷

The only way to fix the clarity in performance mode on the base PS5 is to set your display resolution to 1440p in the PS5 screen settings. But that requires your display to be able to output a 1440p resolution. The PC version looks absolutely fantastic. Even better than the PS5 Pro version. It's the forced DRS causing stutters and hitching. Same problem was on the PC port of remake. Once modders were able to unlock the engine.ini setting we could completely disable it and the stuttering completely vanished along with the game running in full native res. Once the rebirth ini is unlocked I'm sure the same results will follow

I guess technically it can since the Pro and PC can enhance it a little more, but I feel like it already looked perfect on PS5, so buying a pro is obsolete, and waiting a year for a PC version is also dumb...
The performance mode is a total blur fest on a 4K television when using base PS5. I played like 50 hours of it on PS5 but I fell off knowing I'd just rebuy it on PC to play on a high end rig. Nothing dumb about it imo.
are you talking about Remake or Rebirth? Cause you said Remake. That one looked amazing on PS5, meanwhile Rebirth does not look good at all
Has anyone tested Ultrawide yet, is it proper or does it need fan fixes?
I had the ps5 disc and played for few hours and quit due to resolution being too low in performance and 0 motion blur in quality and locked 30 fps which was not good at all
Cant you switch dynamic resolution scaling off as wanna play only in native resolution for best graphics details ???
You’d just make the maximum and minimum conditions both 100% to have native res.
@nlikeflynn8837 seems wrong to me as need to be switched off totally graphics look kinda blurry or have muddy textures to max setting same thing happened with Remake in past get locked fps and native resolution with dynamic resolution its upscaling so was not native gonna wait for a patch or mod
@ probably will have to wait for a mod then sadly
4070 ti is definitely NOT a mid range card
midrange card with high end pricing lol
Well when you consider the 5090 is going to be 2x faster it kinda is at this point. Still a great card.
depends on how you define it. the entry level on 40 series is 4060. 4070 class cards are mid range. 4080 are the high end ones. and 4090 are the enthusiast class.
I got a 4090 and 7800X3D = I don't have to worry.
crossing my fingers it supports 2560x1600 with no black borders
I hope they release part 3 on pc for release. If they do I will build a gaming pc.
Square has stated they are multiplatform moving forward and day & date should be expected
One of my favorite games ever.
I wait for the mods please
you dont mind those constant ministutters/stutters in your gameplay? you calling that smooth? game is also blurry asf. that can be saved by reshade but still.
There will be an INI edit that fixes the POP in.
Whats a preformance
does it have FSR 3 and frame gen?
nope you have zero options if you don't have an nvidia card
@ i managed to enable frame gen from the adrenaline software. it works fine.
can you do a rog ally review?
Nah I’ve just waiting to play on my steam deck. Going on a trip this weekend and rebirth will be the best while on the train.
4070 ti = mid range card? wut? doesn't that card go for like 700$
High end is $2000 and 2x the speed of a 4070Ti.
50% res scale get outta here
Does it support Ultrawide ?
No
does it has ultrawide support?
No.
@😞😞
is It has Denuvo?
Nope.
@@agentspencer7739 thank you
@@agentspencer7739 Thank you 👍
no frame gen bro?
frame gen is shit LOL
When will you be on blue sky?
Has someone tried this version with a GTX 1080 by chance? Asking for a friend for research purposes...
Maximilian Dood said it didn't work on his 1080 Ti setup. You need Shader model 6.6 and DX12 ultimate support. The 1080 only has Shader Model 6.2 and DX12 non-ultimate support. There might be a way to force it into DX11 mode but I'm not sure how well that would work. My suggestion is to sign up for GeForce Now for a month or two and you can stream it using a 4080 beast computer.
Game of the year for me BMW was great but story and everything is just below FF7 ( i played FF7 part 1 on 4K max settings HDR on and have 105fps all the time ) so i hope it will be at least 60fps on part 2
cant wait for the mod videos to start popping up on here so we are gonna be seeing some very goofy stuff
when you said "a 4070 is a mid range card" i suddenly thought ' WTF!! my guy you are so detached from reality ' thats afkn JOKE statement, a 4070 is HIGH end card my guy. MID is 2070-3080.... LOW is Less that 2070....
I hope it can run on RTX 2050 i7. 😢
If it runs :)
May as well buy myself a PS5
5:07 *Spills coffee*
$750 for a Midrange card?
It really doesn't look any better than the PS5 version on a good monitor.
Everyone getting review copy's I'm jealous 😂
The real 2024 GOTY
time to sell off my ps5 pro.
can’t wait
Forbidden West looks way better.
I cant believe there is no FSR for this game. Wtf.
Are the textures still muddy all over the place?
