She was not at her best in Seoul 88 due to the surgery she went through her left knee, such a pity, cause I believe Aurelia would have won the Olympics. She was not only powerful, original, but the most elegant and technically cleanest among all the gymnasts. Silivas was awesome, Shushunova was great, but Dobre was a step ahead, she was pure class. A marvel to see her performing, unforgetteable.
JUANSWISS I agree totally. Aurelia was the perfect package, although Dani was always my favorite. She may not have been quite as “elegant” but she was so much more expressive and exuberant. Aurelia was really special though and it was a terrible shame she wasn’t in her peak form in Seoul. Imagine that Silivas-Shushunova battle with a healthy Dobre. That would have been epic.
I know they are from different countries but imagine healthy Aurelia, Olessia Dudnik, Tatiana Groshkova, Natalia Laschenova, Shushunova and Daniela Silivas in the same Olympic team. They would probably be unbeatable
Wonderfully artistic, as always. The difficulty was cut way down. Probably the right decision considering how injured she was. It was a shame that she wasn't at her best during the Olympics. Still very beautiful.

La nueva escuela de gimnasia y el código de puntos impuesto por Estados Unidos y Nelly kim solo ven La dificultad de los ejercicios, simon biles cometió errores imperdonables en el Piso se salía de la línea y aún así la premiaban con buen puntaje

Sólo aumentó la dificultad a costa de lo artístico. ¡Una vergüenza lo que hizo Bruno Grandi y especialmente Nelli Kim (ex campeona olímpica "soviética) al transformar la gimnasia presionada por Estados Unidos y para beneficio de éste!
Incredible the fact that she injured that same year and still managed somehow to get in shape and compete in Seul. Not her full difficulty, but still really impresive
Aurelia Dobre is my personal idel she inspires me to chase my dreams I want to have a big happy family just like her it would be my dream to meet her even though I don't have anything to do with gymnastics:)
Beautiful artistic gymnast, but I was really surprised to see just how many twisting elements were in this set, bc usually, those really can aggravate a knee injury like she had. Most knee injuries in gymnastics are the result of twisting too late, and twisting into the floor. It's murder on the knees.
