I think I have a natural rhodium nugget .it is several ounces. I found it in about the same area that I have found platinum nuggets and iridium nuggets .The natural platinum nuggets I found were tested ....they were platinum ,but a percentage of the nugget also had other pgm's in it along with some silver and gold. The iridium nuggets were tested and they were identified as iridium . I have not tesed this nugget yet, but it definately looks like rhodium . It is not so dark grey in appearance like the platinum. It's more like a bluish silvery white nugget with a blackish hue around it , and it also has a orange looking hue around it what do u think?
Baird n co London is the bar he is showing and u can buy 1 tenth of an oz from them they have their own refinery near london city airport and many shops St hatton gardens so if u can't afford an oz buy 1_10th from Baird n co London thanks Graham conquer
If you can find someone to make it of solid rhodium (not some cheap electroplating) then, yes, it would be very durable. It's a very hard metal which means it doesn't wear or break as easily but good luck finding someone who can melt it and turn it into a shape!
@@Steveman27 Well, its not as easy as you might think it almost takes 2000 degrees C to melt it. What are you gonna unse as a crucible ? Metalls wont work, they would burn up in a normal atmosphere, and some might actually form alloys with it. So if you have a ceramic u need a vacuum or special atmosphere, because Oxygen is soluble in Rhodium , and when it cools it comes out of it like sparkling water. What are you gonna use to heat it? Hoa are you going to pour it into a mold in the vacuum? You have to be very specialised to have that equipment.
@@yaykruser I would like to be able to go to someone where they can melt down and shape silver into a specific shape. Maybe silverware where it's pure silver instead of sterling silver. There could be other ideas for other shapes to have it molded into as well. I wonder who I could take silver to for that and how much they would charge for it.
@@Steveman27 Silver would be nuch easier to melt, in fact I made some silver Jewlery for my mother for christmas, so maybe you can try to do it yourselfe? If its just something as small as a ring you could ask a jeweler he should be able to make one.

Nearly impossible to find. The rarest precious metal on earth.
Nah, thats iridium.
They just need so much rhodium for catalysts
@@yaykruseriridium catalysts tho are suspiciously cheap still compared to its rarity
When it comes to space iridium is 10^3times common than rhodium and gold
Im looking at Rhodium right now because the hands and indices of my watch are coated with it. It's a brilliant white metal.
Imagine walking into a car dealer and buying a car with a coin sized piece of Rhodium. Lol
Those bullion are on Ebay for $20,000 now.
Yeah, but its hard to find anyone who buys them, most of the time you have to give a 50% discount...
@@yaykruser How do you know that exactly

Hey whenever you scratch rhodium on a precious metals testing kit Blackstone, will the scratches be red in color

@@RasielSuarez It sounds like it's more rare to find someone who can melt down and custom shape a metal, than it is to find a gold nugget in the dirt.
