I would do anything for them and their happiness. I have learnt from them probably more than what my teachers and family and life all combined have taught me. They mean they world to me and I could never repay them for what they've done for me even in a million years. They are the BEST people I know. I detest Miley Cyrus but can not deny that there was once a time when she had strong and inspirational lyrics and I enjoy this song. These lyrics are more preferable to me and I believe far more suitable for the characters and storyline of 'Bridge to Terabithia' than the Billy Ray lyrics. I suppose some liberties were probably taken with the Billy Ray collab version considering it was NOT the version that made the film. 'Bridge to Terabithia' is such a fantastic film. I have the book on my quite heavily populated list. It's a bit nostalgic for me. I had a friendship similar to Jess and Leslie's in the 5th grade. We created and acted out or own film-like stories and kind of isolated ourselves from the rest of the school daycare which we attended. I lost him as well, though not to death. He was in 4th grade. So I graduated and he changed schools and we just never saw each other again.
I'm not a fan of the movie but the "Dead Meat" kid entertained me, Leslie makes the biggest smiles any other live action character cannot rival, the main theme is wondrous and this song is catchy and awesome. (PS the climax with that dark spirit was the best part)
