Yes her voice was great but check out Taeyeon’s impromptu version. it was the best, too. Kangin forced her to sing without preparation. And she nailed it! Check it out. I realize your comment was from 9yrs ago but Taeyeon sang this a year prior to this.

It just goes to show how great of a singer Younha is without having to rely on vibrato to sound good. Her voice is so clear.. and her tone is great. Wish she had more songs that suited her.

Taeyeon and Younha both did amazing. like really jjang ! props for Younha for sitting while singing(that's hard) and Taeyeon's impromptu singing(and she's like hungry that time too) .. i had goosebumps watching voice only / staff fancam of Tae's version .. they're both seriously good !
I totally agree with umji316, every good singer who sings this does make it their own but it takes something special to stand out from the multiples of people that DO sing this, YounHa definitely possesses that special something! Taeyeon sang this incredibly and flawlessly also!

The two even fall short of 다비치's live performance on 이하나's Chocolate (search for 다비치 애인 있어요 and it should be near the top) from episode 19 aired on April 3rd, 2009. Taeyeon and Younha will eventually develop but they're not quite there for this song.
@12zuzus Actually it makes a huge difference- sitting down puts more strain on your hips & stomach than standing up does, which naturally leads to a smaller diaphragm (= less air for breathing, which is crucial for a song that requires as much as breath as this one). It might not make a huge difference when you're singing with head voice (ex: Brian McKnight & Christina Aguilera singing "Have a Merry Little Christmas), but when you have to sing with your stomach, it changes everything.
