As a 25 year long DJ, I have to say this was sick. Great use of everything. Constant changes. Real creativity. It's definitely crowd worthy.
I found myself watching this mix over and over again. GREAT stuff, that even make me luv the DDJ 800.
I love this controller. I love how you can manipulate the sound through the Beat fx and i think the mic input and effects are just brilliant and make it crowd worthy
This is why DJs get paid the big $$$ - not to just sit around and do basic mixing that anyone can learn in a few weeks, but to do interesting and creative things which take a lot of time, commitment and skill to pull off.
Great mix! Would love to see a longer progressive/deep mix and how you would weave those songs together!

@@nanayawagyekum3891 if you hold slip down plus the reverse button, the reverse effect will be applied but the track won't lose its place in time. when he lets go of reverse, since it is in slip the song goes back to the point that it would've been at if he hadn't reversed.

I am very strongly considering buying a ddj 800 and going to training camp. I probably will not be as good as you 🤣 I have always used CDs in an old fashioned way with a dual CD player in a 19 "rack. 🤣 how many years have you played on controllers like this ???

Of course, it's 4 channels vs 2. The 2 can live together in the controller range no problem.

i have this Pionner ddj-800 and i bought 2 units Gemini MDJ-900 My question is i can connect together ?? works fine. without problem.
I think I prefer these jog wheels over the ddj-1000..i have a 1000 and all my other controllers have these.

To those who own dvd turntables i for one dont but my boy does big up folks for letting me mess with them like i told them movie credits are my favorite some one gotta feel me on that one but to finish them sucka ass punks off kill bill both discs. This is super dope and impressive, but this is not 'house/deep house' mixing. Most of deep house djs barely touch the effect section if they ever do. It's more about subtle transitioning and track selection.
Lmao how do you think any dj of any genre achieves a smooth transition?? Surely not with the help of effects.... I guess using the eq is also off limits too as your track selection should take care of any conflicting frequencies

Headliners should be able to do stuff like this in House sets, but most can't. If it's deep/progressive it's a completely different vibe that doing this kind of stuff would ruin. A house set though? Do you know Bad Boy Bill?
