      Don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions to the teacher you are assisting, be yourself, being nervous is totally normal..you just have to "do it"

      I started as a TA last year. I'd say my main rule is to not just focus on your assigned kid, making friends with other friends in the class makes them more friendly to an SEND kid. Also don't tell them you're new!
