I recently made a change from city skating to aggressive and the content has been very useful. You are a great teacher my friend thank you for everything you do for us.
at 0:00 you can see me standing in the grass by the quarter pipe. Ah the good old days when I wasn't confident in my skating. Things like that are nice to just sit back and reminisce about these silly little things of the past.
I just learned this like last month and I cannot stop doing them. These grinds are actually so easy to balance once you get the lock down. I also got them from doing a bunch of ao stars. Super fun tricks!
Only thing I would add to that is that if you're like me not comfortable with ao star you can also think of it as a similar motion to an ao top acid, other than that great video as usual !
@@matthewverfuerth151 Man I get you, I can halfcab top soul lots of obstacles same with ao top soul but I can't top soul a miniramp for some reason, sometimes it makes no sens what tricks we can or can't do ahahah
Dude, we appreciate the explanations, but it would be great if you could add a few slowmo shots of the jumps. Speaks more than words. Thanks for helping us becoming better skaters!
Great breakdown. I was never one to come out forward on Savannah's, but I agree that is shows a level of mastery and it looks really really good. Going to work on front san to forward on my next session!
Great video! I’m still doing easy backside unities. Going try these tips. Thanks! I like how you learned it though, I love no jump switch ups with torque or backslides going on.... I’m still getting frontside backslide to alley op star alla nickel and dime 1
holy shit this is amazing. it'll take me a while to work up the nerve/confidence. may i ask your age? I just turned 30 and am just stared aggressive skating a year ago and am scared I'm too late to the party...
Good stuff! I've been struggling with these again. I had them one day and then just started sucking at them again lol. These tips are going to be very helpful. Sidewalk: Not locked the skate's backslide groove Star grind: Locked in nice and neat in that backslide groove. (Much cleaner looking)
Late to comment but, after watching this video... it inspired me to try and do them and after plenty of tries, I did get it on a box at the skatepark. I need to continue practice doing them because I've only done maybe twice before. Back savanahs are a million times harder than front ones.
Okay I love this guy. I'm an old old school Minnesota rollerblader and as soon as he mentioned it I just had to pause and make this comment. Obviously Sk8 612 fan. But dose he know. The Stoll Master from Anoka.
Subbed on both my accounts now 😎Always had trouble with this one, all the other unities I find easy! Never thought of trying to come out forward! Will apply your tips and see if I can get the hang of them!
Side walks are like Star grinds except your back foot is on the boot or laces. A proper star grind is with the back foot locked in on the frame and royal groove. Very similar
Thank you very much for your videos, and even though I don't understand half of the words because my English is weak, but in Russia no one does this, you are cool man Красава! In russian) With russia from thank's
I understand the reason for the great debate over AO Unity/Front Sav but Is there a reason you why you can't say "Pornstar" on RUclips? Is it a demonetize thing or a cancel culture type thing?
The difference is that with a sidewalk, you put your chin down on the rail/ledge. Old school trick. Haven't seen one done in years. But yeah, ugly as fuck. Can't argue with you there :D

One of the only tricks I virtually never did. Thanks for the video!

Good job on the channel man. Just bought some Sways and built a p rail. Trying to show my kids I still have minimal skills. Keep up the good stuff.
I can’t even roller skate that well yet and I am no we’re near doing this but I just really enjoy your content

Unity is as easy as a royal to me.
I agree it's a very stable grind.
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast
That both of us 😅

I see switch AO top acid that way. I was going to mention it but thought AO top acid was way more advanced than front sav.
Funny fact. When I was young I could alley op top acid hand rails but couldn’t acid soul them.
@@matthewverfuerth151 you're a mad man lol that's crazy.

Thanks man I am going to go skate right now and learn that Savana
the difference between.a pornstar and a sidewalk is i cant do a top porn.

may i ask your age? I just turned 30 and am just stared aggressive skating a year ago and am scared I'm too late to the party...
Never to late to party! Im 36 and still having the time of my life every time i skate.
You're awesome thanks for the tips

Thanks for this. Any chance you could do a how to grind coping from fakie? really struggling to even stall going fakie
Sidewalk's grinding on the laces or top of the boot. A Pstar is an Acid Mizou. Hope that clears it up.
Perfectly 👌

Go on! Awesome tutorial thank you very much!! 💪🏻😎
Greetings from Russia!! thank you for learning!
Can you learn grinding on one leg

alleyoop...on a groove trick?... C'mon now, LoL!
Is a sidewalk where you hang the knee below the grind or rail.
Side walks are like Star grinds except your back foot is on the boot or laces. A proper star grind is with the back foot locked in on the frame and royal groove. Very similar
Damn... that’s a dope little ledge spot where’s that at?

Front sav is sooo easy (lol no its not) plzzz ir the best plz do fish brain that would be the most epic tutorial plzzzzzzzz
These come so much easier to me than farv, royale or unity
Thats an ao unity the Savannah is with a 270° spin
And so it begins lol
ruclips.net/video/IsE1dyXi7nM/видео.html
I think your right
Aren't savanahs always a backside trick and alleyoop unity's are always frontside?

Main difference is that the PStar is stylish and the Sidewalk is ugly AF xd

This man is skating in flu game 12s
