- Hello Friends. This is a little review of our new cooker. Chosen by my husband and son, and rightly so, as they cook more than I do. It's a review without all the frills, a true opinion of an appliance. Lovely Place does not do many reviews of appliances because we try wherever possible to repair, repurpose and reuse. Came here for a review, all I got was someone moaning endlessly because they were too lazy or stupid to read the instruction manual.

I bought this oven in a rush last week. I guess its fine but completely agree with all the comments on this video 😂. I will add that despite being from B&Q and being fitted into my existing B&Q oven unit that it didnt fit because of a protruding box at the back. So I then had to hacksaw my unit to get it in
Thankyou for liking my video James :). It's made my day to know I'm not the only one out there struggling to work stuff - I didn't mention in the video that my husband and son took HOURS to fit this because they though it had to be wired in - not realising the last oven had tripped the fuse and thats why this oven initially didn't work. . . . .
@jamesllewellyn3867 lol don’t worry I’ve comitted far worse sins than that and most trades men will do far worse, once it’s pushed in flush it will look a million dollars .. just let sleeping dogs lye .😂
Ive moved into a new place, it has one of these ovens. I cant find a user manual, and i cant seem to get one online.
I cant turn the feckin thing off either, I turn it off at the wall like the woman in the video.
Lololol😂😂you've just made my morning. Apparently you have to press the square button. The button that looks like a 'pause' TWICE to turn the awful thing off. Just do it at the wall like i showed you. Much easier 😂😂
please explain how to lock and unlock
Hi Jaison Joseph - thanks for the comment - I think you turn it off by pressing and holding the button that looks like a pause button - but I'm not entirely sure - I haven't cooked in ages - this seems to be an oven for reheating frozen pizzas as used by the other family members - I don't know when I will next attempt real cooking or a sunday roast ;)
How do you work the damn thing!
Hi julia.🙂as you can see from my review, I'm afraid I have no idea😂 but there is a plus point. As I don't know how to use it, someone else has to do the cooking😉

Does the clock go off after a certain amount of time?
Hi Bradders - Thanks for your query. I think it does, but as we are always trying to save energy we turn it off at the wall - in the uk, the oven socket has a light on it - so we're using energy to run the tiny red light, even when the cooker isn't on - unless we turn it off at the wall. - I hope that helps.
The slides are for the baking tray it slides out so you can check on the food and slide it back in , yours is missing 😂
Hi MrMagsimus :). Thanks so much for your comment - I used the oven myself for the first time the other day and I'm going to make a video about how that went - I think I mention a tray - but I had no idea that was what it was for. . . . I will mention you in the new video. ;)

LOL@@MrMagsimus I made a chicken dinner on 25/11/23 - haven't watched the film, need to edit, blah blah n also mention you - and prossecco was involved in the filming so I'm guessing most of the audio will have to be removed and reapplied. . . . . I have no recollection of what settings I used but I did do Yorkshire puddings :)
Thanks for teaching me how to moan about electricity, while filming it on your phone which will use electricity then uploading to the Internet which will use electricity.....
