- Programming your Retic Controller can be a challenge if your are not doing it that often. I have made a short video on how to program your KwikDial KD Retic Controller or Irrigation Controller. depending on what side of the country you live on.

very helpful; I'm having issues where the sprinklers come on for 2 seconds, then shut off, and there's a battery with a line through it that flashes on the screen
Hi Will, this actually means that your controller is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced. Sorry to let you know this.
@@MrRetic it doesn't do it every time. only sometimes. it's a good thing I have a spare that's exactly the same :P
I had my irrigation guy program this and now I'd like to change it. How do I make changes when it's already programmed?
Thank you for this video! That part when you set the start times. How can I cancel the times on letters B and C?
If you turn the dial to start times.. then press the ABC button. To turn off the start time press the ➖ button until 12.00 then the next press should say off.. then you have. Canceled that starting time. But do follow the same process for checking all start times on all programs.

If A is my main will B run on the selected days and times without interfering with A?
Yes they can run separately, however for ease of use we generally only ever run Program A
On auto I have SEN that flashes where the numbers are. Can you explain?
Hi the controller is saying the sensor is stopping the retic from running, if you have a sensor it recording that it is wet, if you don't have a sensor ensure switch inside wiring compartment it set to bypass, It could be be that the switch/ board are faulty and controller will need to be replaced. I have flashing fuse on screen, how do I change its fuse?
Hi Mark this controller doesn't have a fuse, it's trying to tell you there is an issue with the coil, cable or controller. I would remove all cable to solenoids(mark them or take photo) and then re run controller if fuse error is still showing then issue is with controller and will need to be replaced, if error goes away ten issue is with cable or coil, then I would find solenoid and replace coil and see if still showing error. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
I had to disconnect my unit to put my new kitchen and put it back just like before and updated the date and time but having trouble having it turn on for 5 mins every night at 4 a.m like before...help be appreciated
Once you have reset the date and time. If you follow the video prompts for start time and stations runtimes. Which you wanted to set for 5mins then turn the dial to days of the week and set those all to on. That should have you back up and running to where you were before.
We no longer need to use the sprinkler system but have this KD installed. Can we just turn it to off until we need it again?
Yes just turn the dial to the off position an your system will no longer operate automatically, until you turn it back to the run/auto position.

Can you manually run one station or do you have to wait for the cycle?
Yes mate, turn the dial to ‘manual stations’ and press the ➡️ button until you get to the station that you want to water. Then the plus button for a continued run. Or keep pressing the plus button for the continued automated time that you would like.

Hi Jean, for this controller when you go through 1-6 then turn the dial back to 1 again and hit the ➡️ button. This will then take you to 7,8,9.
