Fair play for giving it another shot. Like any bike it'll need some tweaks to get you comfy. Battery for you fast lads is gonna be a problem until they improve it massively, but for AMCA/ACU lads like me it'll do a 14m plus a lap race with 30% to spare pretty easily. The Marmite bike is back out. 👌🏻What I take from this is they are a great all round bike. At the moment they are for people who want to keep the noise down, don’t want to service a gas bike, and are not interested in racing. I would like to know how they are dealing with the lack of noise in Arena cross? Last year people said it was hard to race against them as you could not tell where they are? It’s the ultimate vet bike!! I tried one last year. Biggest takeaway was its adjustability. Smooth the power out and ad engine braking for hard pack or turn it up for mud and sand. For 15min amca races it’s pretty spot on. And the other big plus is you can tame it right down and let your mate have a go safely. I would not let my non riding buddies have a go on me 450.
Jake I think quite a few people would be interested including myself if the stark varg had its own recharge system as it runs along, company like that I'm sure they could do something.

@studay1007 watch jono jones vlog on Jake's track, a mtb'er he rounds it up well. How it's way easier, with no clutch and a handbrake like he's used too.
Over thinking it. It isn`t an ice bike. The power is adjustable. When I need more power. I hit the button up to the next mode. Don`t need to stop. After obstacle is cleared. Go back down if needed. Mainly I just use throttle control.
what still makes me lmfao is when we were hearing stark say they will be in mxgp and competitive by 2025 and many of us said no way and were vilified, well 2025 is here and what do we have? A bike that can't even manage 17mins at this track before its balls shrink, this track is of course no joke but a gp track it isn't and this is with one guy ragging it to death in the perfect line, lap after lap, a 30min + 2 at a gp track with competitors is light years away, no wonder they have gone quiet.....
the bother with these will be wen you cant get insurance to put it in your van and keep it in your garage theres a fellow with an electric car cant get car insurance or house insurage
So more power slower lap times and can't last a race distance 😮...... But ok for playing in your garden on a Sunday afternoon, that's all we need to know
The Varg is cool and all and if you have some money to burn why not buy one. But other than its near silence it offers no advantages over a gas bike and comes with a lot of disadvantages. One thing it ain’t is “green.”
It you want it quicker turn up the hp , you’re the only person who I’ve seen who’s moaning about the performance, you shouldn’t need to change the gearing , stick to petrol mate you obviously don’t like electric bike, all the top riders seem to love it

i am so glad the 250 whooped it again, i have to say this though - the varg could be 10secs quicker and i would still reject it - just being on the outside watching the 250 video lap is raw, visceral, the noise and the vibe is there even as a video viewer you can almost feel it, with this thing i almost found myself watching my facebook feed on my mobile due to boredom - i nearly switched off and had to tell myself no, don't be a dick and watch the video.. And that emotion is played out via a screen, i am not there in life and living and feeling it as a live spectator, I HATE these things...call me what you like i do not care, they suck the life out of moto.

Do you have to let the battery cool down in between charges to stop over heating?? & possible overheating it?? Cheers Jake 👌👍
No , the battery doesn’t even get warm . On a hot day on sand track it’s only slightly warm

They are banned from competing against gas bikes if they won’t last a race why is everyone so scared to let them race ?
