You make great lessons! I spent years experimenting with different compositions to get this knowledge.

I'd like to echo the other comments praising your channel. I've taken photos for many years but have recently decided to get a bit more serious and try to improve what I'm doing. Your channel, which is inexplicably small given the quality of the content, has really helped me. You've shone light (!) on thoughts, frustrations, and approaches to photography I've run in to time and time again but would have struggled to articulate. I mean it when I say the content is top notch - whatever it takes to tip the algorithm in your favour, I hope it happens and the rewards come your way asap!
    Please keep it up. Thanks.

Tom, I love your videos! They are so much fun and entertaining to watch, whilst at the same time being quite informative. I feel like I've learned so much about composition from one of your other videos and now more about leading lines. Thank you so much for what you do!

The tree on the right: how can something so dark attract the eye?

    • @yorkshirephotowalks

I think it is because it is surrounded by lighter tones, therefore the contrast split in that area of the scene can have the affect of drawing the eye away from where we intend it to be lead.
