I think I can get the shift shuffle in 2 second faster than I can Shift my T56 into 2nd gear....lol...when my auto fox hits 2nd When doing the shift shuffle... But hit 2nd guess so hard just like you dump the clutch.. Fast..... When I don't do the shift shuffle in the Fox automatic and drive it normal D.... Drive normal.... Is someone said it probably has a shift kit.... I said no there's no shift yet because when it's in drive it goes like a regular car the shifts are at 4200 RPM That's on the carpet...
Hey B. Here some time ago I recall you doing a video on changing the shifter with one that gave it more of a manual stick appearance. Was that applicable to the AOD?
Well thats really not that far off number wise. I am running an AOD with a 2800 to 3200 stall with 4.10 gears bone stock motor and my best 1/8 time was 9.66 I did spin on takeoff though. With your heads you may be more of a top end build like Andrew said.
I agree it’s making more steam on the big end but the rear brakes aren’t working so it’s pushing through the converter easily and I do think the throttle body will help some.
Couldn't you just unhook the TV cable and just manually shift each gear ? I was told that works , im unsure myself , I've got a c4 , 3800 stall with 410 grs and 275 60 15 radials and it is not daily with that , I was think of building a aod , but only if I can shift manually, if not I'm installing 355 grs
What’s the point of this shuffle ? Should have compared to just leaving in drive.. makes me laugh when people think they go faster when they shift a auto manually.. unless is not set hot hot red line for some reason
classic! I've done this with everybody AOD I've ever driven sometimes it doesn't work for whatever reason! BTW I have had issues with a few of them also I don't know if this caused the problems but it probably didn't help the situation!
Can someone please tell me if the stock fuel sending unit is 0 to 90 ohm or what is it

I think SilverFox trans goes over that on their website
@@brokentoolgarage silverfox over at clickclickracing?? If so thats freaking awesome he is the man the myth and the legend, he sent me all the parts to build my AODE in my sn95, said it would have no problems up to 1000 HP...Got my 3500 yank converter from allen his friend back then at Dirty Dog, and sadly it all sits still in boxes for the last 10-12 years.... im curious how many of you are on moddedmustangs?
man add a transgo kit that car would chirp every gear and hit harder then a t5
Cool
How do you do this with a 2003 mustang. If has OD, 2 then 1 on the shifter. Would you start in 1 when ready to shift bump to 2 and then back to 1 quick and then when ready to shift back up to OD?
I’m curious to see the gains on the TB. I have a typhoon upper and lower with aftermarket fuel rails, a 70mm TB and 70mm EGR waiting to go on this weekend. Running stock right now. I was going to wait and do heads too, but can’t find any in stock and everyone wants big $$$ for their used heads
I’m curious as well. I would think you could find some stock heads pretty cheap. If you were going to ford takeover I would bring you a set.
@@BREW2LFOXBODY Well damn, thank you for the consideration, but I meant stock as in inventory. I don’t want another set of E7’s haha. I am considering porting mine
@@smallfry0764 if you're going to even think about porting stock go to the junkyard and grab some gt40s and port them. Unported its like a 30hp gain. Ported is even better. Plus then you can still drive your car while doing your port job. My 94 cobra is fbo, gears, suspension. And a whole ton of weight reduction and im a low 12 second car without ever cracking my motor except to change a headgasket and instal arp headbolts
@@slowbra94 I would but you obviously haven’t seen what people want for GT40 heads. $1,200-1500 if I’m lucky. I’d rather wait and see if I can get some 11r’s for that
@@smallfry0764 i would never recommend buying gt40s i meant pull them at a yard. Its like 100 for both at my local yard
Biggest issue is the stock aod and it sounds like it could use more convertor to me.
Pro tip #2, wait until the tranny shifts before pulling the shifter back to 1st. It's not a ratchet shifter in that sense.
Can you do that same thing on a 2004 Gt Automatic?
Is this for manual valve only or just a regular automatic shift AOD
Don't know what's up with my 90... But when I do that shift shuffle... When I pull back down for 2nd gear it kicks in Fast.....
Hey what is your gas mileage on the calypso clone and the carbon fox?
So seatbelt for pops?
I’d screw that up and throw into reverse or something. 😂
🤣🤣👀
My 93 has 1 2 d then od. What is the difference
You know the approx cost of a quarter horse remote tune ?
Baby needs rotors!
Yes it does
Guy really love your show, doing a paint job on my fox and you keep me from feeling overwhelmed so far haha
@@BREW2LFOXBODY do you have a 1/8 mile track close by? It would make a great video and you could compare actual numbers to the dragy.
Nitrous solves all problems Brew2l
So does boost 🤣✊
Yes it does but you already got a boosted stang
Nitrous creates more problems than it solves
@@smallfry0764 We don't need that kind of negativity in our life's... 😂
@@nitroustommy3668 Lmao. If it makes you feel better I’m putting a 125 shot on my car lol. I just can’t be surprised when she lets go
What linkage did you run for the AOD to your stock shifter ? Or can you shoot me a message and help me out
What shift kit do you have in this transmission?
What’s the trick to not break 3rd gear tho lol 😂 t5 guys need answers
No you didn’t..? 🤣 Get that TKX brother 🙌
@@BREW2LFOXBODY lol 😂 naw so far my t5 is holding up really good! No issues
What wheels are those
Don't run out drive and put it in OD at WOT. That will kill OD
🐎🚗💪🇺🇲💯
Does the AOD shuffle only work at WOT or can you do it in town to lock in second gear?
It does not have to be WOT. You can do it just cruising.
☝️
@@jordanhill8199 thank you Jordan
Damn! That car runs slower than stock!!
It’s coming around now.
What’s the point of this shuffle ? Should have compared to just leaving in drive.. makes me laugh when people think they go faster when they shift a auto manually.. unless is not set hot hot red line for some reason
4R70W swap cause the AOD sucks the life out of the car.
You’ll want to keep watching then…
classic! I've done this with everybody AOD I've ever driven sometimes it doesn't work for whatever reason! BTW I have had issues with a few of them also I don't know if this caused the problems but it probably didn't help the situation!
Wait a full second after popping 2nd then pull lever into L.
You're probably too fast for the valve body to cycle.
Od band was probably burnt.
