The way I learned this trick is to start off with the 2 face up cards and 1 face down card on the table. Tell the spectator, although this looks like a face down card here, it actually doesnt exist yet. Then do the routine. After the card is chosen and signed, explain that now we have a card that really didnt exist before the trick started. Just a different twist on it. If done correctly and smoothly, this trick blows minds more than any trick Ive ever performed (How in the hell did my card go from this pile to that one?). Good trick mate. 😊
