I was born in Tacoma, WA & I have always thought that WA & OR are 2 of the most beautiful states. They're just so green & you can literally catch all 4 seasons in 1 day by traveling through the state(s). Don't get me wrong, the east coast is beautiful in its own right, but there's something about the northwest that just speaks to my soul! Great haul, as always!

Some of the movie was filmed in NC but the majority of Dirty Dancing (Kellerman's exterior scenes, lake practice scene, gazebo, Baby's cabin, alot of interiors) was actually filmed at Mountain Lake Resort in Pembroke VA. It's not far from my house.
Oregon is my home town and always will be. I'm currently in Arizona and been missing Oregon a lot lately. ❤

Marie-a blast from the past. I used those bath oil beads a million years ago. I had forgotten about those. Love the beauty items & the planner things. Great haul!
You can also make your candles stand up by taking a lighter and heat up the bottom to where it melts a little and before it hardens put it in the candle holder it works you have to hold it firm for a few seconds

Rubber band at the end of the candles work, but in case it doesn't try heating up the candles at the bottom with a litter and allow them to dry up on the metal and that would keep them put. Or a little bit of hot glue will also do the trick.

I’ve lived in Oregon now for 15 years and am still amazed at the beauty of this state. Hope you got the chance to drive along the Columbia River Gorge to see multnomah Falls- one of the tallest year round falls in the country. On a side note - the movie Kindergarten Cop with Arnold Schwarzenegger was also pretty much all filmed in Astoria. Thanks for your great and entertaining videos!

Fantasy is usually more fun than reality. My all time favorite show, Northern Exposure was not filmed in Alaska-the city didn’t even exist! But my imagination still took me there, and I still want to visit Alaska-not because of the show, but because of the scenery. ❤
My fave show also! Rewatching the whole series now that prime picked it up. The town it was filmed in is Roslyn, WA and you can visit there - they’ve kept the town as it was on the show. On my bucket list to visit and have lunch at The Brick!

I lived in Oregon for 30;years my youngest son was born there I came back to upstate NY to take care of my mom who has since passed all 4 of my children 3 boys 1 girl live in Oregon they grew up there so soon I will be moving back hope you got to see the redwood forest and your right there is not a more BEAUTIFUL place to live my daughter came here for less than a year I'm in Rome NY she hated it here and went back she's in coos Bay teaching on the Indian reservation my boys are all in Rogue river where they have acres and homes I can't wait to move back btw love your channel and your content oh and no tax in Oregon. It's Amazing there.

Love Oregon. I was in Portland, & one of my bucket list things was to see The Shining hotel (Timberline Mt Hood). I went while there, as well as Cannon Beach. Loved every minute in Oregon!
I also went to Colorado to see The Stanley Hotel where Stephen King was when he had the idea for the book. I’m glad I did both & it didn’t ruin the movie for me.
I don't like the new stickers printed onto the packaging. Makes it more difficult for gift giving. 😢

We visited Bodega Bay where The Birds was filmed. Was able to see the schoolhouse, located on the hill where you saw the kids running down the road with the birds attacking them. Also visited the diner from the movie which has been renovated and enlarged but they preserved the original entrance from the movie, within the restaurant. Pretty cool.
I busted out laughing when you said you tried to eat one! My Dad has been gone for about 30 years now but bone of our funniest memories of him was him trying to eat one of my Moms bath beads!…. Took me back 😂❤
Oh my goodness I know what you mean… Oregon is my favorite state so far for the natural beauty. Astoria and Cannon beach are such adorable quaint little towns. We love to escape from the Florida heat every summer and the PNW has been our spot. This summer we flew into Boston and drove up the Maine coast and while the nature and weather were amazing just like the PNW, the history, New England style homes and lighthouses blew me away. Not to mention the charming little towns. It’s a nice alternative to escape the heat closer to Florida but my heart is still in Oregon. If you go back to Oregon, check out the Columbia Gorge Scenic drive towards Mt hood… omg it’s breathtaking.
I live just across the Megler Bridge between Washington and Oregon. We love Astoria! Washington, Oregon and California charge for the bags. No sales tax in Oregon! The PNW is gorgeous.

I remember those bath oil balls as a kid. They used to put them in a candy cane container at Christmas. We have the paper bags in NY and so far they don’t charge us for them.

I live in PA and I heard that same statement from my daughter's ex who was born and raised in Orange County CA after he visited PA for the first time! He said PA has so much history and ''old'' stuff whereas Orange County is all 'newer'.
My favorite Tv show is One tree hill it was filmed in Wilmington North Carolina I went there and it was so much fun. But I solely went there because of off that show no other reason but Dawson’s creek and a lot of other movies were filmed there as well.❤My cousin lives in Portland and we’re going to visit her next year, can’t wait!
When I went to Astoria, which was to see The Goonies stuff, we stayed in a hotel and the movie on TNT that night was the Goonies!!!!

We were up in Seattle in July and it was beautiful! The weather was so refreshing compared to Dallas, LOL. Another beautiful state is Maine. Portland, ME is one of my favorite places and a foodie’s paradise.

I think when you go see the area where a story happen, it takes the magical vision away! I think if I saw the Downton Abbey house I'd be disappointed cause my fantasy vision would be disturbed by the reality!!

Here in New York, stores do not give you plastic bags anymore. I guess Oregon is the same. The DT charges 25 cents per bag in New York.
You have got to go to Washington State. I grew up in Washington and it is so beautiful. You will love the Puget sound and the Seattle area and all the way up north, just beautiful!

If you can, try to visit Wisconsin in the summer or fall, so beautiful. Door County is very popular in the summer. Milwaukee has a lot to offer with summertime festivals. Fall is just gorgeous with all the leaves changing colors. going up north in the rural areas, farm areas.

Dollar Tree also recently put out the Popsugar lavender & vanilla body oil in a 6.08 oz bottle. Sold at walmart for the same as the bath oil beads about $10 & works great too. Personal Care just came out w/ a vanilla cake scented shave cream/moisturizer that smells just like vanilla cake & imo is the best shaving lotion DT has ever done. I did pick up that strawberry face moisturizer a few mos ago & I like it. Also a brand new skincare line that Global Beauty Care just put out are their dupes for Bubble. There's a daily face cleanser, a toner mist, which I love, a daily face gel moisturizer, and purifying wipes. They come in purple, teal, pink & blue packaging, the wipes are in an orange pkg w/ pink edges. I paired them w/ the cosmetic bags DT put out a lil while back in the same exact colors.
