I am so happy when you hang out with Magic Journeys. They are good people.
Wait, my two favorite disneyland channel couples TOGETHER?!? More please!!!!!!!
Thank you! We love Magic Journeys!
Great Taiwanese food!
Yes, I have eaten at the one by my house in Valley Fair Mall in San Jose. We waited in a really long line when it first opened. Super, super good. If you guys ever come back to Nor Cal, visit Winchester Mystery House, then cross the street for good eats at Santana Row has a nice hotel there as well. Then cross the street again for nice shops and good eats (Din Tai) at Valley Fair. Glad you all had a great meal and great company!
@@DjEnsi I’m also from San Jose & Yes exactly straight down from the Disney Store going towards the original luxury hall 🤗💕and it’ll be on your right. Totally craving it again after watching 😅
oh yes, santana row has a bunch of restaurants and very very good food
Wow, thanks for the tip! Sounds like a fun overnight from the East Bay, making a note. Always wanted to see the Winchester Mystery House 😉
I love going there. My family and I go often.
I’m from Sac and was just trying to talk my husband into going to Winchester. I’d he knows there’s this incredible Chinese food nearby, I got him. Thanks for the info.
The two couples I watch together!!! I Love it! Yes, I agree with the others, more please!
"Looks like a flower.... or a demigorgon." HAHAHA :D You guys bring me and others tons of joy and laughs every single video!
Thanks Emily!
We have been to the original location in Arcadia when it first was brought over from Taiwan. Their current location is in the Arcadia mall. It is so good! Their soup dumplings are amazing and I love that you can see them making them too. You can never go wrong eating there.
That’s the truth Emily!
I grew up going to the Old Arcadia location. I became obsessed with their Shanghai rice cake. I can't go there without ordering it. I'm so happy to see Katie and Spencer discovering it.🙂🙂
I love these collabs! The food looks delicious 🤤
We love them as well!
When I went to Vegas in June I walked up to that restaurant at Aria but did not go in! Now I am mad at myself for not eating there. I will eat there in March when I go to Vegas again. Looked like a nice time with Magic Journey's.
You won’t be disappointed
Make a reservation ahead of time in south coast plaza because it gets really busy! The string beans and soup dumplings are my favorite, the fried rice with pork chop is amazing!
Those String Beans 🙌
Hi KT! Broth is made of bone broth gelatin (culinary term is aspic) that is mixed into filling. When steamed the gelatin melts into liquid broth. Now I want some Din Tai Fung noodles & spicy wontons!
It’s definitely unique
Cool with magic journeys
Beyond cool🙌
I've been obsessed with soup dumplings, the way they make the broth is with high gelatin bones, like hogs feet, that they simmer for a long time to make broth. They then chill the broth til it's like jello, cube it up and mix it with the filling. When they steam it, the gelatin melts into yummy broth. I see in the comments there is a place in San Jose, a half hour from Santa Cruz. Might have to go over the hill...
The food there is amazing !🤤
Nice that you and Magic Journey could spend some time together glad you had a fun night
I'll be in Vegas next week and I have added this place to the list. Thank You
Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing your time in Vegas ☺️
It’s Our pleasure indeed
THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE I GO TO WHEN I'M BACK IN VEGAS!! Thank you so much BLB!!
I’ve been to the original location in Taiwan. 🥰 Next level! The broth is gelatinous when assembled (aspic).
Good to know!
Yes!!! DINTAIFUNG!!! I’m from Sacramento but I lived in Seattle for awhile and I first had it up there and I was instantly obsessed. I miss it so much, glad you guys got to experience it 🙌🏼
I am so hungry now! To tell you how good this looked, after the vlog was done, we looked at each other, and asked if we should drive down next Saturday to try it 😸 We live about two hours away, and that seems like a drive worthy destination! Thanks for the temptation - you're the best ❤️
Do it!! You won't regret it🙂
Omg, guys, I had to have a snack watching this cause I wanted to eat everything you had! That place is on my list for Vegas now! So cool!
This has got to be my favorite restaurant, coupled by magic journeys 10 10 10 of the year!!!!!going to watch again its so great!!!!!what a place!! What a menu!!!!!!
The interior of this restaurant looks so amazing, it's such a work of art! I haven't been to Vegas in years and I will be doing this for my next Vegas vacation. Chinese food is my all time favorite and I grew up eating it as a child. Your videos continue to bring me joy and happiness to my life!
Hope you enjoy when you go!
Don't need to go that far for the place. Go to Century City or the original one in Arcadia.
We were already in Vegas so it was very convenient.
Din Tai Fung in Arcadia.....Here We Come!!!!! :D Great video once again! :D
Thank you and enjoy!
I will have to go to Din Tai Fung when I visit Las Vegas.
You must
“Tropical Hideaway inspired?” I think it’s the other way around.
I am so hungry now! So fun to see BLAB and Magic Journeys tasting together.
Loved this video!! Everything looked so good!! Definitely going to try our next trip to Vegas!!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy when you go
Lol anyone count how many times they ask “Is it spicy?” LOL not making fun but super funny. Everything looks delish!!! And yay for expanding your taste palets
Yeah we are not into spicy food, Spencer can handle a little bit of spice though.
@@BestlifeandBeyondofficial thanks for your reply!! just thought it was cute/ funny
OMG, you guys know how to live! Must try this. I wonder if TWDC could get them to set up a restaurant in one of their resorts?
Best Life Livin!
@@BestlifeandBeyondofficial absolutely! 😍
Oh my goodness that food looks amazing!!
Amazing is an understatement, it’s absolutely divine
I hesitated watching this because I absolutely LOVE this place and I knew I would have Din Tai FOMO! 😆 ugh, I could taste those soup dumplings from here lol. So good!
Hi Katie n Spencer 😊👋oh my all that food looked so yummy. Great to see Jannell and MigVee spending time with you. Great friends ❤👏♥💕
Ooo you guys need to try the cucumber salad! That’s one of my must haves from that place
We definitely will next time
The one in Costa Mesa is also amazing and much closer for those delicious dumplings. I’m now adding this on my calendar lol
There's one near me here in the Del Amo Mall in Torrance, Ca. Haven't been there yet but I'll definitely have to go and try it. Everything looks delicious!!
There is a Din Tai Fung in Costa Mesa at South Coast Plaza! It's just as amazing! Delicious food!
We’re very happy about that!
I love Spencers hat! I need that hat for the teenager....
also - super fun video, love you guys -- hoping you'll be in CA right before Thanksgiving.
New Era for the hat but it may be sold out, not sure
Can you guys do a video talking about the financial planning of saving up for trips like this one, Disney trips/days, etc. and what has worked for you both? I’m always curious to hear about the financial aspect of how to save up for these things since they are definitely not cheap!
We just plan ahead and save appropriately to be able to afford certain things
@@BestlifeandBeyondofficial Got it. Much love to both of you - my husband and I love watching your videos and living out your best lives! Hope we get the chance to run into you both one day ❤️
That food looks great!!!
It was amazing!
I go to the one in Americana in Glendale.
Love that spot
Looks like a flower… Or a Demi-Gorgon 🤣🤣🤣🌸👏👏
there's also a location in at glendale americana :) legitimately one of my favorite restaurants
I'm so glad you guys tried Din Tai there's on in Americana in Glendale and we love it 😍
Goin to Vegas in September. This is the third vlog I have seen for this place. Looks amazing. Will definitely
Be going! Love your vlogs.
Thanks you! Hope you enjoy it when you go
Mmmmmmm!!! I was with you all in spirit! 🥟🤪🤤 I love DinTaiFung. 🥰 My husband and I used to eat there when we lived in Tokyo. Although the dessert options were a bit different in Japan with creamy milk tofu in a sweet sauce instead of the chocolate long bao. FYI - If you guys want to pronounce things correctly, then with “Wagyu” the wa is the same pronunciation like saying the wa in water and gyu is like gyou as in the word “you” with the hard g sound in front of it. Hope that didn’t sound too pretentious with the explanation. 🤓 Anyhooo, SOOOOO looking forward to your Disneyland Halloween adventures soon. 😍🎃 We were going to try to go this year and make another pit stop at Rogers Gardens in the OC as well since every year they do a fabulous Halloween display (check out their YT page and search Halloween for the past few years - love the creepy song from their Halloween 2013 video). However, medical treatments have taken precedent and so we’ll hopefully see y’all at Disney next year. Thanks Spencer and Katie (and Janelle and Miguel!). You guys are the best!!! xoxo Christine in way too smoky CO 🔥😷
Thank you Christine!
I love Din Tai Fung. This restaurant is all over the west coast! Check out places all over So Cal! I think you’ll be going more often when you find a location in So Cal you like!
We will for sure
My wife and I love this place, we always go to the Torrance location and prefer the Spicy Wontons and Crab Xiaolongbao
Hi Guys! Love your content and your channel! Just wanted to let you know, Din Tai Fung is actually a Taiwanese restaurant, not Chinese. Looks like you really enjoyed the food! Can’t wait for your next episode!
Thank you!
Wow guys I was just at the Aria a few weeks ago and also ate at Din Tai Fung too. So good and yeah it’s a little pricey, but the food was worth it.
We agree, worth it once in a while.
This food looked amazing!! We gotta try this out next time in Vegas!!!
You must
Just booked a reservation there for my trip in October! Thanks for all these helpful reviews :)
You’re welcome! Enjoy!
they have din tai fung in irvine and many southern california locations
The truffle and pork xiao long bao are sooooo good!! Soooo good!
You are right about that!
This is my first time ever seeing soup bao and dumplings, and I'm impressed
Ours also. So good!
We love the location in Arcadia! The best food
Great, now I have to drive out to Arcadia and get me some. Lol thanks!
You probably know this already, but it’s a chain and there are a few in SoCal. Got one here in the Bay Area, too. So delicious! Also, I know you’re Disney bloggers… but the bao at this restaurant are exponentially better than and so not inspired by Tropical Hideaway. Kinda cringed for you at that moment.
Omg that place was good tried it when I went to Australia
Love the amount of locations worldwide
I haven’t tried the one here in Orange County
Love the Mickey hat where did you get it? Next trip for sure we have to try that restaurant.
Loveeeee Din Tai Fung! There are a few locations up and down the west coast!
So glad they have so many locations
We loooove Din Tai Fung here in So Cali! Gotta check the LV spot now!
It’s a beautiful location
Do you need to make reservations?
Great video! We went to the one in Glendale and it was worth the 2 hour wait.
It’s worth it for sure
Yummy that food looked soo good! Made my mouth water!!!!! Hope to try the one in San Jose ca soon!
You must try
I been wanting to eat at the one inside South Coast Plaza in Orange County. Now I have to go to it now. It is about 20 to 30 minutes from Disneyland.
Yeah semi close to Disneyland
Beware you two. There is a Din Tai Fung at South Coast Plaza in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa
We ordered it to go already!lol
Katie! Love those glitter blue nails! What's the color?!?!
The one at South Coast Plaza is always busy
For good reason I guess.
Wow 🥟🥢 that place looks epic 👍
If you guys want to grab din tai fung in oc, there's a location in south coast plaza!
Ordered takeout from there last night!😂
Just wondering what you guys got for takeout from the South Coast location. Any highly recommended dishes? Live nearby so may go tonight and takeout! 😂 Great video as always! 👍
@@BestlifeandBeyondofficial omg yess! highly recommend the cucumber salad if you haven't tried it already!☺️
You really need to try Lunasia in Cerritos they have the BEST DIM SUM. A little different from Din Tai Fung
Thanks for the recommendation!
You two should travel with a really good cooler. For when you go out and you have food left over.?
One of our favorite restaurants here in Washington state! 😋
Yes!
I think they use a cooking needle that sticks into food to fill it with the liquid. I forget what its called.
Ohhh, we wondered how that was achieved
I live in Vegas and haven't been there before I'll have to try out.
You must
We’re very lucky on the West Coast to have DTF
Agreed
Hiii i love chinesse food
We do too!
@@BestlifeandBeyondofficial i wanna go here
Actually it’s Taiwanese food.
We had Din Tai Fung a couple weeks ago in Seattle and it was so, so good!
Love it!
The best food is outside of the Strip … just talk to vegas locals
You realize there’s a Din Tai Fung at the Century City Mall right? 🙄
We do, but we were in Vegas so it made sense for us to go there.
It's tawian not Chinese
👍🏾
👍👍👍
Is Janelle pregnant?
One of the most overrated places I've been. Your better off just going a place in Chinatown.
We loved it
