Yay! This was my suggestion. I will have plenty of food comp dollars in May when I'm there and I can't wait to eat dumplings, dumplings, dumplings . I'm sure I'll be using $100 of my dollars there. Thanks for the review! Oh by the way, I learned in one of your recent videos that we are cousins. That's right, the "L" in my name is for Lee!
My friend just gave me a gift card for $100 for this place so it was perfect to see your video before I go there. Thanks for the review and the laughs, Danny the Medic.😄
Lol. Hi Danny. You’re the greatest. Thank you for the Review. I always walk by the location in Arcadia, CA. That place is always busy. Noodle St. also has a window where you can see how they hand pull the Noodles, it’s quite a show. I loved the Dumpling Autopsy 😅 Ive never seen that before. And the Skinny Girl date advice is also noted. 😂
You need to go back and try their small dishes and some of the other foods, all sooooo good… i can eat so many steamers of xiao long bao every time i go to DTF….. 🤤
I was there once. Spent $45 for 3 things including tips. Still hungry after. Then I walked back to Ellis Island. Get a comp for a steak ($10). Tip $5 and was full. Spent the whole $50 I won at Aria's craps table. Next time, I will go play craps in Aria. When I win @150, I will go to have a feast on Xiao Long Bao. That is one of my bucket list.
Ohh I thought the soup dumplings were dry when I tried them last year too. I find the ones in NYC, especially Flushing to be much better. Thanks so much for the review! ❤
hello ftdan, visited in los angeles few years and this restaurant was new to me - know they are shanghai food and think they are TP owner. went with the steam dumplings and cucumber salad. steam dumpling would not be with ginger dip. steam dumpling make the soy, vinegar with chili. it was really good to eat. elle for blackjill
hello , the soup spoon is the most fun - wish may be the store would sell it. step to eat it 1 bao in spoon 2 little bit hole 3 pick up the bao 4 pour the vinegar in 5 put back bao in spoon and enjoy. elle for no spill bite
OMG the medical glove examination of the soup dumpling! 🤣 What I really wanna now is, how does this place's dumplings stack up to the original Joe's Shanghai in Flushing? 😀
Danny…really…you sneaky devil, you didn’t get one but two pens!!😆😆 LOL, and I didn’t get one?? Guess I have to wait till the next time I go to Din Tai Fung🤷🏻♀️
I heard that they are putting a Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney here in California. I can’t wait to go there and try it out.😊 My daughter and son in law are going to Las Vegas tomorrow. In your opinion, which buffet has the best food for the money? Thank you!
3:1 red vinegar to soy is way too much for me. But I suppose the beauty of the sauce is that you can adjust to your liking. Myself I'd probably do 2:1 soy and chili sauce. Prices at Ding Tai Fung seem inline with other locations, so while it's pricey, at least it's in line with the cost outside of Vegasville.
You are hilarious 😂. Really? The pen? Omg, that was my mom. She took everything her sticky fingers could reach for without a price tag attached to it. That napkin? My mom wouldnt have used it. She would have taken it.
Here in Seattle people mostly know Din Tai Fung from Mariners and Kraken games. However, the stadium stands don’t have soup dumplings, and as far as I’m concerned without soup dumplings it’s not really Din Tai Fung.
@@dannythemedic Found this: "Din Tai Fung is a world renowned Taiwanese restaurant (now chain) that specializes in soup dumplings and noodles. The restaurant has been awarded the Michelin star 5 times, and is recognised as one of the best dim sum eateries in the world. Their signature dish, xiaolongbao is a must try." BTW, China ( Shanghai ) is still not open to visitors and requires shots and quarantine time too.
Thank you very funny food videos. I agree with you Din Tai Fung average food and overpriced. You may want to venture to Resorts World Las Vegas and try their Singapore-Style Hawker Center - Famous Foods Street Eats. Delicious 💕👍
I thought Din Tai Fung in Aria was a bit overrated. But being on the Strip means tourists and hotel guests/gamblers of the MGM properties will come in droves
but they cant have chairs, because they would need to touch chairs with hands.... maybe those are just performers and the real boas are made in the back lol
I have been to a few of them and have gone many times because friends seem to think they are great. Probably because of the "posh" setting of the place. But I have always found Din Tai Fung's food to be very overrated and overpriced.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!!
"I'm so stealing the pen guys"
Danny, you're so funny! I enjoy all your videos.

Close up of the day?, more like autopsy of the day, you really know your food Danny the medic, love the dumplings*

Love the sense of humor. I also like a great dumpling.

Fun, fun video. For some reason I keep hearing your mother..."DANNY, quit playing with your food!!"
I love that place, always a Sunday treat for me.

Love you show Danny. I guess I will be hungry in and hungry out for this Restaurant. The food is too tiny.
Thats what panda express is for LOL
Danny…really…you sneaky devil, you didn’t get one but two pens!!😆😆 LOL, and I didn’t get one?? Guess I have to wait till the next time I go to Din Tai Fung🤷🏻♀️
I went there once and once was good enough for me lol kinda shocked you gave it such a high score
Have you tried the Joe’s Shanghai in NYC? They have good soup dumplings too, I prefer it than Ding Tai Fung…
yes it aint bad
I heard that they are putting a Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney here in California. I can’t wait to go there and try it out.😊 My daughter and son in law are going to Las Vegas tomorrow. In your opinion, which buffet has the best food for the money? Thank you!
for the money? how much money? bacchanal is a favorite
"Snitches get Stitches!" LOL hahahah! Danny the Medic you Bad Boy! LOL!
I think they used to come with more than six pieces per order pre-COVID at the Seattle, WA location.
3:1 red vinegar to soy is way too much for me. But I suppose the beauty of the sauce is that you can adjust to your liking. Myself I'd probably do 2:1 soy and chili sauce.

😂 Nice gloved examinations.
I also thought the pork dumplings were not very soupy. You have to try the sesame vegan noodles. They are fantastic!
👍👍😋💕😄😎 Thanks Danny !
Nice review , what did you have at Panda and what was the strawberry looking Starbucks drink you had at the end of the video?
strawberry frap, i had the noodles, beef broccoli and the chicken teriyaki
Glad to hear it wasn't priced too outrageously.

man.... the whole thing is about the soup dumplings!
Did Danny keep the posh Napkin?
no, I had to use it
Must of been weird for the wait staff when you put on the gloves and you started to TT twist their dumplings.
lol
Danny, hopefully Traveling to Taiwan and getting the real stuff is on your future travel plans ? Thanks , ha ha .
but the real is in shanghai no?

6:30 - haha, snitches get stitches! haha, have not heard that in years. you are a trip.
Those 2 pens 🖊️ are a nice token of a very posh venue. Surprised you didn’t take a pair of chopsticks?? LOL
ooo i shoulda
You spent 28 dollars. 😂
Deconstructing food bites is really unappetizing. Still, you make it all enjoyable, Danny. Keep truckin'.
Thanks 👍
If I had to pay those kinds of prices, I'd steal the pens too.
Thank you very funny food videos. I agree with you Din Tai Fung average food and overpriced.

STITCHES 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious 😂 should have taken the plate too lol
and the chopsticks lol. love this guy.
I thought Din Tai Fung in Aria was a bit overrated. But being on the Strip means tourists and hotel guests/gamblers of the MGM properties will come in droves
Cute blond behind you giving you the "he's crazy look".
Cheaper than Mexican Food at Diablo's Cantina, Luxor Las Vegas
Yeah, but is it Posh
It was extremely Posh!
The bao makers looked like they could use a chair.
The best I've had was in NYC.
but they cant have chairs, because they would need to touch chairs with hands.... maybe those are just performers and the real boas are made in the back lol
@@dannythemedic A stainless steel stool would work.
It was good, but pricey, better options available
I thought the food was really bland there. Everything lacked flavor, maybe it was a bad day for them or something idk.
Very good 😂😂
Danny, stop playing with your food, LOL!!!
Who better to give stitches than a "Medic".
It’s just posh 😅😅😅😅❤❤
Dai lo, you show the posh girls that work there
so its a piece of marinated meat cover by a dough, made fresh,
Mixture sounds good to me. Enjoy! Just send some posh to me! OK?
posh
do you get tongue burn? the soup inside is so hot....
it can be hot yes
Gloves came out again. Next time you should carry magnifying glasses get a better look. LOL
❤❤❤👌👌👌
Delish!!!!
😉😄👍💕
Borat! 😆
Hey Danny...U gotta check out Mott 32 and reserve their famous Peking Duck. It is well worth it! Go give it a try and make a.bideo out of it!
Sooo funny
Posh Spice is also posh in the back.
you are paying for the 'posh' and the service. i dont mind paying for the good service, as even good services are very rate nowadays.
HECK A FUNNY.....
I have been to a few of them and have gone many times because friends seem to think they are great. Probably because of the "posh" setting of the place. But I have always found Din Tai Fung's food to be very overrated and overpriced.
I think POSH is the main attraction here, not so much the food itself...
🤣🤣🤣👍
Snitches get stitches!
My friend, it's NOT that expensive...it's very reasonable IMO👍
surprise huh???
@@dannythemedic yes..lol
Love the videos but they would be 10x better if you said GUYS only a third as much.
