I can't believe the timing of you posting this video today. I have struggled MASSIVELY with this same issue!! Just this past week, I have been on a mission to find a solution; low and behold, here it is!! I have already left a VM and an email to get a set of these. The old "TAKE MY MONEY" is definitely appropriate here!! LOL
I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable but the wait time was long for me. The thing is they’re not available anywhere else. I thought about having a few sets made just so other people don’t have to wait so long
Finally! Brock you sir are the hero of the week! I've been wanting this mod since day one of owning my 2032R. Why JD doesn't offer this as an option is beyond me. Thank you!
You nailed it with that explanation of the turnbuckle--such a pain!!. Kubota is the exact same way....you can put the telescoping Kubota kit on but like the ones you just installed, if you have an implement with wide pins, the sides of the square telescoping kit may hit the tires. And since there is a set difference between the holes, you will have more side to side movement with your implements because the turnbuckle allows more precise tightening of the sway bars. Interested to see if that extra side movement bothers you in upcoming videos. Take care.
My Mahindra 1640 came with them and they are very nice to have. I opted to install Pat's Easy Hitch also. The two combined makes hooking up way easier. Good upgrade and video Brock, thanks for sharing. You'll enjoy it!
👍You will love it for sure Brock! My M7060 came with pinned sway links and telescoping draft arms from the factory. Unfortuntaly the L2501 didn't have been considered upgrading. This upgrade will make your life much easier for sure! The turn buckles really are a pain and i could see them wearing out in the future.
THE M7060 is a "High-end REAL Tractor" , the L2501 is a entry-level small tractor economy series .The L2501 is "lucky" to even come with a seat that has a 1/4" of suspension travel. Its a "pattern" for the barest of a "bare-bones tractor"--; lucky to come even "painted" = its sriped to the max. It is a Excelent little tractor for 4' implements and "way superior " to a wheel-burrow. Once considered one for the "fleet" ( but 5000$ over priced) for what it realy IS. Kubota "saves" the extendable lower draft links for the "60 series" & on UP. Match a set of 3560 draft links for a " measlely 925$ & " WAHOO it's FIXED! Best wishes with all your endeavours.
I prefer the turnbuckles, they offer more adjustment than the sliding style you demonstrated. Hope those work out great for you. Looking forward to a video on 3pt tilt hydraulic cylinder you mentioned.
Brock - this may be the best upgrade you've ever made on your Deere! If you'll recall from my 5 things I hate video, those turnbuckles are high on the list of things I dislike about my John Deere. I'm going to see if they make these for my model. -Chad
If only kioti made green tractors you would have everything you needed in one machine Being serious though I see a lot of small Tractors that come like this. John Deere doesn’t start putting these on until the three series Thanks for watching
Cool video, I guess it's okay I get by with my turnbuckles since these are available on the 1 series, but not a surprise I guess since there's only so much space on such a little tractor. Good video Brock.
Definitely interested in getting some of these. I must say though, the turnbuckles on the 1025r look much better and easier to use than the ones on the 2038r.
This is excellent news! The turnbuckles are an awful design and this is the ticket to fixing that problem. I get that a turnbuckle gives infinite adjustability but the times I need that type of adjustability are very few. Thanks for sharing this, I am definitely in on this upgrade.
I purchased my JD 3033R new in 2016 , it came with that same style adjustable draft arms from the dealer. I just figured they came standard on the 3033R. ( no turnbuckle ) What stump grinder do you have ?, I am waiting delivery on a Woodland Mills WG24 unit that should be in soon.
I have the bomber light 3P24. My cousin just bought the Woodland Mills unit that you are talking about so I got to try them side-by-side in the following video. Both of them have a hard time when the rocks are thick like they were in this property and we were starting the grind on the wrong side of the stump because he misunderstood the owners manual Stump Grinder Showdown - Woodland Mills WG24 Vs Baumalight 3P24
Nice setup Brock! My buddy's Kubota has the turnbuckles like yours came with, they are a pain. I got lucky my 3046R came with telescoping stabilizers, though I may look into the telescoping draft links like you have. It seems I could even use them with the iMatch!
I’ll add that to my description so that nobody else waste their time on it. I actually talked to tractor time with tim about these a while back and he was looking for someone who makes them for the 1025. I just don’t think anyone does because they are so short
i have a 2520--the original 2038r and i couldn't get a set either-back when i asked for a set. maybe now he can.. but i have a quick hitch on my 3pt-so once i tighten my turnbuckles up-no more fussing with them--if i had to loosen and tighten them suckers up-every time i changed out a implement it would of drove me nuts-lol
@@bigjim5723 he told me that some of the older two series he did not make them for. 90% of the time I have a quick hitch on but that other 10% is annoying Thanks for watching
@@bigjim5723 got a reply from him yesterday: still don't build for the 1 series - said "The factory set up is too short for telescoping stabilizers to work."
Sorry to hear that Pal, but ANTHING that Can go on a 1025r can Usually be "thrown around like a toothpick ". With a 4 foot roto-tiller being the heaviest @ 275 lbs.

I agree. That it should be stock or an upgrade option.

I'm glad my kioti tractor came with all that. If it hadn't I would have changed them also. They do make hooking up so much easier.

I plan to get these. In all actuality, JD should offer these or offered as an upgrade when ordering the tractor. Nice video, Brock! 👍

This JD 3046R is a " high-end" tractor it SHOULD come with telescoping lower draft links; my Massey-Ferguson 1736m power-shuttle (36hp) DID !!!
All of the 3R tractors have them I believe. The 2 R don’t
Unfortunately I need something like this because my tire chains occasionally spin the adjuster.
I still want a set of these
They are nice

Great stuff but no luck for Kioti CS2220/2520, too short for the fabricator to make one.
Cool

Who is the name of the person who custom makes the stabilizer bars. Thanks
Unfortunately, NOT available for the 1025r or any of the "2" series JD tractors. Bummer, I was really excited about this option.
Yeah, I found out this morning that he doesn’t make it for some of the smaller tractors.
The 2032R and 2038R John Deere are the smallest he makes

That's exactly what Mark from this company said. Too short to make one work.... bummer
I contacted him a couple years ago and he doesn't build them for the 1025R 🙁
