What year is this commercial from? When I was about 2-4 years old this commercial used to scare the living CRAP out of me and make me cry hysterically, especially at the part where he gets paint on his teeth.
Lee Taylor maybe he does like clowns and McDonald's maybe he was sad or something in his life was going on cuz he smiled at the end and he was happy at the end
@@savannahrouse7484 the point of the commercial was to show how the kid was embarrassed to smile because he was missing two of his front teeth. When Ronald splashed the paint on the canvas, it got on his mouth, covering up his own two front teeth, which gave the kid courage to smile because Ronald was able to. Idk, that's what I got from the commercial and I'm pretty sure that was the message lol
"Put a Smile On." I love that song. I remember it from when I was a kid. Sad thing that song doesn't air anymore. I really miss it.
Good times
Why doesn't Ronald McDonald come around anymore?
I wish McDonalds should have kept the clown. I miss seeing his ads as a kid.
Chanel Harris me too. I guess because so many grown ups have a fear of clowns now they figure it would hurt there sales
I miss you Ronald not just for McDonald's but for everything.....my god what happened to this world 😔😭
Ronald mcdonald is so adorable
Love ronald mcdonald's being friends with kids
I love clowns who enjoys cheering people up when they're sad!
Now, here's the irony: if clowns are supposed to be funny and nice, why is there a fear of clowns, let alone such thing as scary clowns?
I remember this commercial when I was a kid. I just loved it and it always made me happy whenever I was in a bad mood.
I remember this. 💖💝💙❤️💚💘💗💕💞💓😘😍
Who else loves McDonald's so much 😄

This was nice.
I remember seeing this as a child Ronald still scares me
I remember this but not the year
I want Ronald McDonald to help me out. I can't stop itching, I'm lonely. Doctors have lied to me. Clowns are my only hope.
Sam
He just kidnapped a kid Jesus..
As a child, I always associated the words happy and smile with fast-food thanks to this ad campaign.

Why are his teeth missing?
Princess Viola: No buddy notices that I just accidentally smeared lipstick on two front teeth.

0:25 Ronald has a Mick Foley smile. Was the wrestler who introduced Yurple to the world playing Ronald by chance?🤣🤣🤣

Austin Solom I was 11 but loved this commercial!
(2009)
This is a kid
It's okay if the kid refuse to smile. Not all kids like clowns...or McDonalds.
