My whole TF experience revolves around connection through music. the DM I believe I have a spiritual connection to (we've never met in person) happens to be a music artist and that is the bulk of how we connect. For instance, one time I cried out to him that I felt like I was drowning and also had a dream I was a bird drowning. that same month he releases a song with the lyric, "in your dreams you're drowning..." Another example is that I told him my love is free, I couldn't care less if he gave me an engagement ring out of a 50 cent vending machine. A little later he releases a song talking about that same exact thing. These are just a couple examples.
A lot of songs remind me of us but there are two that still stick with me after all this time. One is A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. I listened to this song so many times thinking of him during this second separation. I wanted to reach out so badly and tell him how I felt. Then I was at this craft festival at the park across the street from his work and there was a woman there performing with her acoustic guitar and as I walked by and noticed her she started playing this. I stood there looking at his building through all the fairy lights strung between the trees and people buzzing all around me, standing still singing to him. The second perhaps more significant song is What if I Never Get Over You by Lady Antebellum. I used to think of us all the time listening to this and then I was walking along the mountain ridge last year, alone as I usually do and talking to his soul, feeling him with me. And I thought of you Angie actually… and decided to ask him for a sign. I remembered you talking about that with your album popping up on your ipod with the heart and flames and wings. So as I was walking back to the car feeling us holding hands I said give me a sign, if this is real, if we’re twin souls and all of this is really real and you can hear me and I’m not just making all of this up, send me the song What if I Never Get Over You. Then I thought I should add a time frame and said in the next 3 days. I only really listen to the radio in the car and I don’t commute so I’m not listening that much, maybe 20 min on an average day if that. The song had been out for years at that point so they don’t play it much and I typically hear it on the radio maybe once a month or less. So I figured it would be a good sign. I get to my car and start it, turn on the radio and there’s a song just finishing as I start to back up and then next one comes on (they always have the next one queued up already), then I start driving down the mountain and around the first couple of switchbacks, and the next song starts… What if I Never Get Over You. I immediately started crying and got full body goose bumps and felt overcome with love and the bond and just said to him it’s real, I feel you, you’re really here, I hear you. I started laughing crying at how fast he delivered. I don’t think that could be a coincidence. I didn’t go into the relationship knowing about twin flames, I was telling this random woman I met our story soon after the second separation and she got wide eyed and smiled broadly and said oh, you’re twin flames! I said what’s twin flames? She laughed and said, go home and do some research, it all fits. I did and it did. It just felt true, not like I was learning something but like I was remembering it. Sometimes I wish I’d never heard that but it does explain a lot. Aside from the many things in the connection and how we met, I’m not the type to not be able to get over someone, but this is truly never-ending and the love is like no other. It’s been four and a half years apart (after a year and half on the first separation). I know to you that may not seem long, but I haven’t been able to move on so it feels long. Luckily the intense daily and nightly torment I went through for the first 3 years is better, but he never goes away. That’s another question for another day!

And YES that is such a powerful TFy kind of song-the Lady A, What If I Never Get Over You-We actually posted that song on our FB TF page when it first came out a few years ago b/c it just hits sooo hard. Music, movement(dance) and water, that’s really been helping me process emotions and connect to source. There’s this thing on ever Sunday near where I live called „open heart on the dance floor“ and the principle is you $25 for entry and you just flow with the trance like music and come and go as you please. What makes it so special is feeling joy in seeing others freely express themselves and the safety and non-judgment of the space. It’s been really healing for me especially after my emotionally and mental abusive karmic relationship. You guys are so sweet and always love watching you🙏. Holy moly the eclipse corridor was crazy intense this time😵💫 happy 11/11 everyone!! 🎉🎊 Things are shifting for sure! I've just come to understand I have adhd, and I found out my tf does too. I'm trying the things that work for him and it's helping. I think a lot of us tf's and starseeds do. Doreen Virtue used to talk about it a lot. The music getting stuck on a loop in our heads the doctors might call an adhd symptom? Though as tf's we know music comes to us all of the time in relation to this journey. Tf's definitely communicate telepathically that way so often. Solfeggio healing frequencies have helped me a lot over the years. Music of all kinds has helped me through emotional times, especially through the tf journey. 🎵🎶🎵 my tf and I used to send each other songs in 3D too. I still go back and listen to them when I need to remember our feelings and connection.💜

It came like an affirmation for me. ❤️ Music has been such a huge part of my journey - what you said about the triggering and raising vibration - I have experienced both massively and it's been very important. I started with rickrolling my TF, and the words of the song somehow got caught in the relationship - never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down... with many references later, then a couple of years later I made my TF a custom mixtape for his birthday that he can listen to in his car and he later said it's his favourite mixtape. When I had it in the works, the name of my starter playlist was "Favourite mixtape" (as in -not full of favourites but the favourite mixtape I've made).

That was the original idea but the mixtape was more of a "Love vs Lust" kind of thing where I put romantic 80s on one side and "Sex rock" on the other as I called it in my head. Side A was called "Heaven is a place on Earth" (which is actually the song which on the day he first listened to the cassette tape was the song that came on just after our first kiss and he turned it up louder and it was amazing to just sit there and vibe to it), it had other songs like "Everywhere" by Fleetwood Mac, "We Belong" by Pat Benatar, Journey - Don't Stop Believing, Bette Davis Eyes, I've Had The Time of My Life, and "The Best" by Tina Turner which is also a special song for us (we once danced to that one in a festival and were pointing fingers at each other and mouthing "You? No, no, no I'M Simply THE Best"), and I ended the side with Alphaville's Forever Young. Side B was called "Sympathy for the Devil" which is the first track there (by Guns n Roses, in order not to put two songs by the same band after one another), (I can't get no) Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones (because when you meet your twin flame, everything else feels bland, like chewing on styrofoam, at least it was like that for me until I started learning to appreciate other aspects of life) and then it flows into songs like Barracuda, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Pour Some Sugar on Me etc. I had so much fun laughing making that part because it felt really brave and I really wondered what his face would look like when he hears those. And I finished it off with Alice Cooper's "Poison", Asia's "Heat of the Moment", "I Want to Break Free" by Queen and Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan as the last one (the last track on each side was a nostalgic sad one to make him want to turn the tape over again and start with something more upbeat - I guess it worked :D). Back when I made the tape I didn't know anything about twin flames yet, I just knew he was incredibly important to me for some unknown and completely irrational reason which annoyed me, but the pull was so strong I couldn't resist. Hey my loves❤ Do you believe that if one twin (or both twins) have done their shadow work (healing abandonment/rejection issues, etc...) before meeting their other twin, will that help them avoid (or at least shorten) the Separation stage? Cause we all know that the purpose of separation is healing old wounds. Will doing the shadow work also help them avoid the Running & Chasing dynamics? Since both twins are fully (or partially) healed then why would one would run and the other chase?

Don't worry, most people's journey now won't take that long. There are different waves of TFs and as one of the first waves, our journey took much longer than others. Now that there's more info out about TFs and more people awakened to the journey, the energy propels things faster, so things don't have to take as long for newer waves of TFs than it did for us.

I was fortunate enough to exchange several emails with Maurie Pressman (Co author) of the book when he was still alive. He wanted to know what was happening in the TS/TF community at that time ! I am now at a similar point in my journey : )

Hey my loves❤ Do you believe that if one twin (or both twins) have done their shadow work (healing abandonment/rejection issues, etc...) before meeting their other twin, will that help them avoid (or at least shorten) the Separation stage? Cause we all know that the purpose of separation is healing old wounds. Will doing the shadow work also help them avoid the Running & Chasing dynamics? Since both twins are fully (or partially) healed then why would one would run and the other chase?
This song gave me much needed hope during one of the darkest periods of my journey. Lyrics were so spot on. Even a reference to 7 years, which is how long I’ve been in separation. Almost eerie!

I'm so sad. It looks like my TS and I are on the outs as of 11/11. What a shocking thing to happen, and for me to choose, at the portal. But he's being such an idiot, such an unconscious, hurtful idiot lately. I don't know how I'm going to get through this after ALL THESE YEARS together across the miles, but I have to keep telling myself I'm strong enough, because I AM. ☹I'm going to need to avoid music.

Don't worry, most people's journey now won't take that long. There are different waves of TFs and as one of the first waves, our journey took much longer than others. Now that there's more info out about TFs and more people awakened to the journey, the energy propels things faster, so things don't have to take as long for newer waves of TFs than it did for us.
