The gem of all of this is the guitar solo that starts at 4:47 with the cresendo at 5:50. It reminds me of Trey Anastasio. Its really great. The singing, frankly,... is not great. But, agree, I appreciate an unprocessed cover with great musicians jamming like it was done back in the day. Back when humans actually had talent and cared.

I first came across this cover maybe a year ago. I still come back to it almost every week. So good. Really tight, and really talented group of young men.

The bass in this song, especially in the second half, is god-damn heavenly. Just orgasmic notes. And while giving my respect to the awesome cover, let's also recognize Michael Jackson. Listen, MJ was a different kind of cat. We all knew it when he was alive and in his prime. None of that personal shit should ever take away from what an amazing genius he was. This song in particular is just insanely eloquent. I always want it to go on another 10 minutes, but that's what the best artists do... end it with you wanting more.

My two year old daughter has had Man in the Mirror stick in her head all week and has been signing it at the top of her lungs. When my wife tried to satisfy her ear worm by playing the original, she wasn't having it and demanded the 'real' version.😂 You all should know that I often use your music and videos to illustrate to my children, as they are just learning to play and understand music, what good musicianship is.

I found this looking for a Rock/Metal cover of this song, started playing this, and was initially disappointed (due to genre difference). I left it playing and was taught a very important lesson. This is one of the best covers I have heard in my life.
I mainly listen to metal and rock music myself, but I'm still open too and listen and enjoy all kinds of music. To not would be to rob oneself of all the good stuff out there, and if you're writing music yourself then there is so much to learn from other genres. Just saying. :)

I bakieve it is hard to out do Michael. Being honest, I like this version more than the original. I can feel the harmony among the artists playing together, not trying to get on top of each other showing off. Each one of them have their moment. So much feeling was put into this production. Like someone else said in the comments, props to the sound engineer and every staff member that made this beautiful melody happen as it is. Keep up the great work
The difference is that this version is sweet but when Michael sings he is going to war, he is making a change, he gives you his blood and every cell of his body. No comparison... But yes, everybody likes what they like.
