I would recommend just disabling the downwards facing obstacle avoidance all together, then you don't have to worry about those cameras and sensors etc on the bottom.
Yeah I find it flies better with the sensors turned off as it is plus some report issues with the sensors going crazy when flying over water due to the reflection. I just always leave mine off. This is a great video thanks for this.
Dear good day that good information modification Appreciate My question first that model drone I means dji air 2 or pro How many gram can carry and throw
I live inland, never done any salt water fishing just fresh water. I've got a few local lakes I'd like to try and use one of the "from the bank" sonars. I've been looking into using a drone to fish and find fish with when I take my kids fishing.
this is still my favorite method. ive actually spooled the reel a few times and the only thing that happens is that the hook pops out with the line. Works great for me but use caution for sure. plus its only money, right?
Yeah I looked at other methods for me this one is the best. Very clever. The downrigger option out there I can see causing an issue possibly but this way to me seems most safe. I am going to give this a shot at Lake Tahoe this weekend to try and get some large Mackinaw that are just not possible with a manual cast. Turning my Mavic Pro into a fisherman
ive tried the downrigger option and i hated it. I was using it in heavy winds and no matter how light i set the clap my drone could never break loose. plus its scary yanking on a line connected to your drone. not for me
Nope. sorry but that looks way to okie. With enough time that setup would be trouble. But I do see 4 allen head screws between the sensor and the gimbal that would hold a nice little custom plate with a detachable hook. May need to match them up and buy longer screws but no biggie. Or super easy for anyone with a 3d printer and scanner to design.
This is the most helpful video i've ever seen on you tube..thank you man
Cut coat hanger at either corner.perfect fit.T800Aust
3m stick on wall hook is what I use works well

Thats a great idea, i dont know why i didnt think of that lol
That's what I did with mine, just found it easier. Just remember to turn it back on again once you've removed the fishing attachments :)
Jason how did you do that just got one and I would love to do some fishing with it . But I don’t know a lot about it at all

Hay did you have any luck? I have mavic air and looking into using a drone to drop bait or spinner into lakes. I'm in Ireland too.
I think need to be pointing to front.
Just shut the sensors off when using it that should be done any way with a drop kit
Cheers bro
So how is this still working out for you? Have you had issues doing it this way at all? Still using this method?
