I have a folding 20 in/ 2in Ebike as well. more suited to my old age. but..my shocks are bad. a bumpy ride even on the roads which are mostly bad. great way to see the city on a sunny warm day. a real nice city at that. also I have a carrier to get to downtown as I live north. thanks for the memories. used to live there.
I just purchased this exact e=bike. I just finished assembling the parts of the bike that I needed because it was shipped to my location in Kitchener. So Saturday August 10, 2024 will be my 1st ride. Really impressed with the bike and the quality of its construction. Thanks for the unbiased review Johnny.
Good morning/afternoon/evening, Beautiful Johnny Strides! Great looking bike & thanks for taking us for a spin. Maybe I missed it, right/left turn signals--unless it is still hand signals---my suggestion---all ebikes & the sort should have flashing arrows to indicate left or right turns for both front & back---the signal button you press should be placed on the left for left turns & on the right for right turns, it would deactivate once the turn has been completed like on a car. Man, the defeated sigh I let out after reading the site's listed features on this ebike; a few weeks after I pre-ordered a somewhat similar(hydra brakes & Gates belt) folder from the states hahaha! A lower weight than my pre-order(est. 49 lbs) & current(43 lbs) ebike stings a bit more when this is in the same province as me, or a GO train ride away. Ugh. Even so thanks for the impressions video on this one Johnny, I was just bit too late on this; but will keep a eye on Movin going forward!

That new island at Adelaide St & York At is a hazard for cyclists. I crashed into that island at 30 km/h when peddling on Adelaide St last week! Don't worry, I was perfectly fine, and I did NOT fall off my bike. It may have damaged my bike tho.
I have a bike I converted to an e-bike and I have 2 cars paid off but if BALTIMORE has this many bike lanes you can bet your last dollar I would be riding my e-bike more and more
Younge street is like one of the main streets and the road condition is a shame, I wonder why we pay taxes it should not be so Turdaeu can spend $250,000 on meals in 6 days.
That little concrete island in the middle of the bike lane is a major hazard! It almost took me out the other day. Wonder how many cyclists, scooter riders, etc. didn't react in time. I predict lawsuits.
All these electric bikes... people are getting too lazy. As a kid you'd probably bike around all day and you wouldn't be out of breath... now as an adult, you get pushed around with an electric motor and your heart gets weak and even climbing up stairs gets your exhausted. it's a sign to NOT get an electric bike and instead get a normal bike and go biking. the TTC would be out of business if everyone biked around. People seem to forget just how fun it used to be!
Kids don't have jobs or other responsibilities. Riding a bike as a kid is about joy, riding a bike as an adult in the city is a means of transportation. For some people, time is literally money.

Well yes we biked a lot as kids back in the day.
But e-bikes are great as an eco car replacement and you don’t get super sweaty biking 10km+ to work.
