I definitely wasn't trying to brag or denigrate the newer shooter. Shooting a sub half inch group is awesome for a newer shooter! I was attempting to point out that with great shooting rifles, the differences in performance ( like group size and location) are measured in tenths of an inch and can be improved with practice. I do this baseline % change test on all my gear and practice frequently because I also have a ton of areas to work to be more consistent. Appreciate you watching and thanks for pointing that out. We love helping shooters get the most of out of their gear!
@@FrancisColonPRS I myself was totally kidding but still funny how it could look like that's what you were doing in the video lol... We all know who the GOAT is in this game but that kid absolutely shot a way better group than I thought we were gonna see
The smaller the point you aim at, the more precise you will be in your aiming. It's also a good idea to dial your scope up/down enough to not destroy your point of aim if you hit bullseye. Just be sure to write down what you dialed!
Thanks for continuing to do the instructional videos,i have been learning a lot from them, i noticed the rear shooting bag that you are using and i have been looking for something like this all summer , can you share the make or if MDT might make a rear bag of this size and design, thanks again
Great question. If you are a right handed shooter, high left shots generally caused by 1) too much cheek pressure, 2) bag settling + body alignment or 3) combination of both. Easy check for number 1: remove your cheek piece and shoot groups without it. If group centers improve, lower your comb height and/or reduce your cheek weld pressure. If that doesn't change anything, settle rifle into bag more aggressively to pack fill more tightly and shift your hips more to the right behind rifle.
@williamortiz8733 Not what I meant. Meant when I was doing my breathing I feel asleep. I thought it might come over that way but figured it was easy enough to explain. I love precision just fall asleep easy lol. Loved the video when I woke up I was still on my natural point of aim. 👍
I’m glad the pro pointed out he’s a better shooter 😂
@speedbalit Francis is a very good guy and not bragging he’s a better shooter. The group the young man shot is still a great group.
There's just no OFF switch for that level of competitive drive lol

Nice!
Thanks (gracias)
Well done. I have some work to do.
Another Stellar Video! Why do you aim at the bottom of the dots and not the center? Thank you!
It's a better point to aim at just like the tip of a diamond. Its more precise point

Amazing video. Thanks guys!
Thank you for watching!
Please discuss how to fix your shots being high and to the left. How would you adjust your hips? Thanks.
