For those who are new, Judge Joe Brown has been publicly speaking about Tina being violent for years. Ike employed hundreds of people and he moved entire band from St. Louis to California. Ike helped Louis Jordan when he was having financial issues with the IRS. Little Richard wrote the introduction to Ike's book and said Ike helped him save his house from foreclosure. He created record labels to give his band opportunities to record singles. These are just a few stories of good deeds that Ike did which are never publicized. Ike claimed to have been married 14 times yet only one bitter ex-wife demonized him for decades. He was friends with a few of his ex-wives who have defended him. Tina was mad that she didn't get the money and property she wanted in the divorce. Contrary to popular belief it is documented that she wanted to keep more than just her name. She also made an offer to continue performing with Ike during their divorce. That doesn't sound like a battered woman who is in fear of her life. If Ike had compromised with her history would have been different. Instead she became resentful and she knew it would be her word against his.

It is amazing how people allow the emotions that song and messaging via TV and music clouds their perception of people. Then when someone speaks the truth that destroys that perception, they attack the messenger instead of adjusting their already-idolatrous view on the person they're speaking about. Years later I become a producer and had a studio on Hollywood Blvd., a friend back then who is now a big podcaster named Zoe brought Ike to my studio. I think Kool Moe Dee introduced me to Zoe btw. I reminded Ike of when I taught him the Linn Drum and he remembered me. He was a nice guy. Funny, a little crazy like an uncle would be at a barbecue. A few years ago, I watched a guitar based channel interview with Keith Richards (of the Rolling Stones)(he doesn't do interviews often & im a fan). Him & the host were playing acoustic guitars & somehow Ike & Tina (who toured with the Stones) came up in the conversation. He mentioned how they would fight in the dressing room & Ike would come out looking worse than Tina. Here's my analysis: They were bad for each other & some great music came out of it. She was one of the greatest of her time, but I can also see how she used the book & movie to capitalize on her agenda/music career to antagonize Ike. It ruined his life & eventually led him to od in '07. Thank God for research.

Facts

@@feliciaclark9533 Hello. Iknew nothing of Craig. Didnt know he existed. The boys never mentioned him. The whole time i knew them, i never saw pops either. If he was only there at night i wouldnt see him but i know he started living in his studio around 69 or so. He would slap around his singing girls Ron would tell me. I knew their dog, the big great dane Onyx. Biggest dog you ever saw.
@@peterzinya1 thanks for replying. How was Tina towards you. Was she nice.
@@feliciaclark9533 Yeah, always nice. In the kitchen most of the time i saw her. She even loaned me Onyx one day. I thought she was gonna say no but she just looked at me like, what next. But i figured she wanted to let Onyx get out of the house. She just went into the back yard and came back with Onyx on a leash and gave him to me.
An @$$ kicking doesn't usually just fall from the sky for no reason
Facts 😂
"Ain't Nobody Above A @$$ Whoopin" . - Chris Rock
He said he used to slap her because she looked depressed😅😅😅
Nothing but the truth
@@robjr6983He was also on crack at that time, that’s when he spiraled
As a woman, this is very interesting to hear. He sounds credible in his recounts of some of the incidents involving Tina. We always have to remember that there are two sides to every story. And that the media will always do whatever they can to tarnish a black man’s legacy.
The movie was clearly a lie , in that movie they made it look like Ike Turner took her virginity and then she got pregnant and had his kid but in real life she had a baby by Ike homeboy before he even started messing with her..that shows how Hollywood went out they way to lie just to give her this fake goodie two shoes image..
If that was the case then why wait until Tina is dead. No one spoke up. I don’t believe Ike was an angel. Black women don’t have the highest femicide rate among all races of women for no reason.
I hate when people make statements against people who are no longer available to give their side
Do to her past, she didn't want anything to do with her identity and tried to be as European as possible
You mean due to her hatred of black society
true dat
Because her family betrayed her, and used left unprotected, didn't you see the movie 🍿 😢
@@Itsaid22 Didn't you see all the comments saying the movie was full of lies?
Europeans are not black
The movie made it looks like Ike was abusive.. All this time we were fooled 😢
He was abusive. He admitted to all.hos abusive for yeats and never denied it. Joe briwn is rambling on like a fool.
This man has never been around Tina Turner.
Rocket 88 is the 1st Rock n Roll song ever, R.I.P IKe Turner. They tried to destroy his legacy
Perfect example of there are 3 sides to every story, "There are 3 sides to every story"
"DAYUM!" He put some stress on that damn. 🤣🤣🤣
Tina shot Michael's little brother,Randy Jackson.😅
Please tell me this is a joke.
@@williamwalsh1533It’s true, Randy was dating Tina’s sons ex gf & she was still friends w/ Tina & she shot him because Randy was abusing the gf.
@@jacluv7862Wow. That's crazy. Can't believe I never heard about this!
😂😂😂 ppl don't know the industry always been a fool
Whaaaat she was nuts
We need a whole biopic
The true one... would never be released.
I don’t even watch that propaganda movie anymore. Especially since I learned the truth
Good to know .. just heard “what’s live got to do with it “ at the gym and this changes my perspective .. poor Ike .. I know my sisters will go to their graves still believing Ike was a monster and Tina an angel victim
I remember watching an interview with Keith Richards and he said that Tina was more than capable of handling herself around Ike and she definitely gave as well as she got. Ike and Tina opened for the Stones during their US tour of 69.
Facts plus that movie put in are heads that Ike was wayyy bigger than Tina because Lawrence was way bigger than Angela but in real life Tina and Ike was the same size Ike was tiny as hell..
5:22 she hit that man with a rake 😂😂😂😂
Pretty sure he says dayum afterwards 😂😂😂
But what did he hit her with, the day before the "rake attack"
I will never talk bad about Tina Turner~ Especially after she is no longer living🕊️🕯️I believe Ike was a Monster and that is that❗
Keep living in your head foo
But Ike is dead too, and you just talked “bad’ about him 🤔
And all of this time everyone including myself defended Tina but now everything is coming to light.
You defended her because you were brainwashed by the media.
All they have to do is write a book or make a movie and you will most likely believe everything that you read or see.
I call it the ‘Color Purple’ effect. This book which was later turned into a movie was also written by a black woman who was also a divestor
You should be skeptical anytime information comes from a black woman, and it is negative towards black men.
Ask him if there are any black women he can say something nice about
😂😂😂😂 exactly!
right on
